i just started getting dreads last week (neglect) and i haven't washed my hair since last Sunday and my hair seems to be parting into sections but i just wanna know if my plan sounds good or if thers anything i need to change.

i have really straight hair so i usually keep it tucked into a hat when im at home and today im gonna wash my hair with a baking-soda and water mixture.
im gonna use the salt water method to help my hair knot, ill probly spray it tomorow and later on this week with the saltwater mix.

any suggestions on how i should sleep or anything else i can do for my hair?

yeah, it'll form its own sections. if you like them, just make sure to keep them from webbing together (congos). make sure if you leave it in a hat that you leave it out of the hat for the same amount of time so that it can move around. movement=knots. baking soda and water is good. i wash mine about once a week...be careful with the salt water it has a tendency to dry your skin and hair which can be good for knots but itchy and flakey. use in moderation, in other words. sleep like you usually do, unless the locks are making it uncomfortable. i sleep differently that i did without locks b/c they feel like rocks sometimes lol. some people suggest making a wool pillowcase to encourage knotting.

Here's some insider information... if you're washing with bicarb, you don't need a saltwater spray the day after.

    Yes, I do have a suggestion. :D

As far as mainstream forums/web destinations go, it's the very best you will find.
