I'm getting sick of my addiction to any and every drug ESPECIALLY opiates. SO My question is this: Do family doctors prescribe subutex for opiate addiction for recreational drug abusers? I don't want to ask my doctor unless I know for sure doctorswill prescribe it for recreational drug abusers as it would throw up a redflag on my chart as being a drug seeker. But if I could just be prescribed subutex for my anxiety, depression, insomnia, and bipolar disorder then I would be happier than any anit-depressant medicine.
He's your doctor. He should be willing to give you something to help you. Family doctor or not it doesn't matter. Just be honest with him, you could get it. Drug addiction is a bitch. I know how it is with opiates, its hard to get off the junk. I know that wasn't much help but best of luck to you. I know you don't know me, but if you ever need to talk you can pm me. I don't know you, im not going to judge you but I will listen to what you have to say.
I just don't know how long insurance would be willing to pay for my maintance. I don't want him to put me on it and slowly ween me off. I want a lifetime of subutex. I would be content for always and forever.
that would be like a methadone addiction...I'd try...be honest. Although I'm not sure the honesty of your intentions. But I understand your desire, obviously, as an opiate user.
