accumulating bad karma for no reason

man people are giving me bad karma on here simply because they disagree. they can't pu up a valid argument wiht some of the things i say and so they give me bad karma. reeeeeeeeal f'n mature of them huh? i have 1 green thing because i started the condolences for amtt thread a couple of greys for diff stuff and then a bunch of bad karma cuz i said i thought Bush was not that bad and that id vote him over kerry cuz kerry would pull troops out of the middle east. dont we all have a right to our own opinion without getting bad karma marks from ignorant others?

I think hes talking about "reputation", most places call it karma. I know what you are saying, mostly ive been just getting good karma but occaisonly ill make a statement few agree with and get a lot of neg rep. Then some smart people usually back me up and it levels it out.

The only karma system I'd ever follow is the one on Overgrow.. Here, the more green bars of you have, the more faggy you are....

 

Is there some better reason to neg rep someone, than because you disagree or don't like their post? Isn't that the point?

i think the whole rep point thing is stupid. most of yall know im not a bad guy but when someone who doesnt know me looks at my rep lvl they are gonna think im an asshole. i dont care if they think that its just some people might care about that kinda stuff and i was jsut using my bar karma accumulation as an example.

 

I only give bad ones when someones being a real dick. It's stupid to do it just because we disagree.

I rarely ever give out bad ones.... But it would seem that if people give you bad rep when they disagree and good rep when they agree etc, it would balance out, so if you mostly post stuff that's good and people agree with or like it would outweigh the bad, or something like that... I mean I get plenty of bad karma too, but I get enough good that the bad makes no difference...

 

i see what you mean but the couple of bad ones i got were for simply stating that i would pick bush over kerry if they were the only 2.

more people then probably think hold their mouse of the green thingeys to see what it is and i do it often to see what it says....you are an enlightened being.....sweet i just think the forums should scrap the whole thing.

 

Most of the bad one I get are just from random stuff, with no comment and anonymous... And I wouldn't want them to scrap it, I like being an enlightened being and having all my stones...

jointman,,, why do you really care about your reputation points. Its a little count on a forum, in the scope of life its not really important, and i believe most people here dont look at your reputation points and judge you because you only have 1 green dot. Well im not phased by the lil system, im here to have a say and talk to others.

 

man i love these forums. everybody is so deep on here. sometimes i think poeple on these forums are like black holes.....they are so deep in mind that you could never reach the bottom. even on some of my stupid posts i still get responses that mean something.

haha ive gotten 3 greens and 2 reds for this thread. one of the reds im guessing came from hoax...who jsut happens to be my best friend. thanks for the greens guys.
