    .4 more than Jews and Muslims, 4.9 more than the highest Christian group.

    Just to clarify, that :)

    I scored a 14 out of 15 :sifone:
    Missed the last question;
    Which one of these preachers participated in the period of religious activity known as the First Great Awakening?
    That to me is more a question relating to history, but so be it.

    I think the reason atheists and agnostics scored higher on this was because they are more likely to learn about ALL of the world's religions, whereas religious people are only knowledgeable in their own particular religion.

    Then why did Jews and Muslims do nearly as well?

    i have no idea. maybe the questions in the survey dealt more with the old testament, which runs parallel to many of the beliefs of the jewish and islam faith.

    it was just a theory. i could be way off base.

    How come nobody else has bothered to take the survey?
    It's only 15 questions.
    No fair peeking at the full results as that gives the answers.

    I did, and I made the same mistake as you. I remember that topic being pretty difficult to pay attention to back in school, doesn't surprise me I missed it. The rest were very, very easy, it is actually surprising how low these scores are. I knew religious people are sometimes ignorant of other religions or even their own, but damn haha.

    I agree. It was amazingly easy. It is scary that the score were so low.
    But I guess education in all forms just isn't as big of a priority any more:(

    ^ I was a little surprised at how well Jews and Muslims did with other religions.

    What do you mean to know something "for success"?

    no surprise here. you don't have to know anything about a belief to fanatically claim affiliation with it. especially if the only real reason for doing so is an excuse to bash everyone else.

    80 per cent of people who claim affiliation with whatever belief is most dominant in their own culture, do so, in reality, whether they realize it or not, to avoid being socially and economically discriminated against. (big phrases that mean to get paid and get layed)
