    Hello All,
Got my hands on some really good Shivs and just wanted to ask as ive never done this before.
A trance Dj i really like is coming to town and i was wondering if its a good idea to trip while at the concert?

Has anyone here ever done such .. if so what was it like? any advice on preparation before i go ahead with it? should i go ahead with it at all?
Im pretty sure theres going to be a large crowd and not many other trippers at all.

    Thanks in advance.

Be very careful about dosing too high in that setting is what i would advise. Trance DJ's are hella fun, but you never know exactly who's going to show up, what the temperature or water access situation at the venue is going to be and who knows what else.

Those Shivas are rumored to be incredibly strong/potent. Very, very experienced psychonauts on this forum are reporting +++ experiences on 1/3 to 1/2 of a single hit of certain colored ones.

i would proceed with extreme caution. If it were me, i'd test them before taking them in a public place and even then take a very tiny taste at first . . . .

For me trips always seem to be mellower at shows. Seems like your senses are being used up by the music and people and don't have time to process in your head and build up. It also seems like the peak happens really fast and by the time the shows over your trips over.

I feel like you need a higher dose to get the right effects, but it also depends how long you take it before the show, and what you do before and during.

But if it all works out, it is really really really fun! Probably one of the funnest things you can do.

i tend to agree in that it is kind of the definition of the "recreational trip" for me. But, i have read so much here about the Shiva doses, including from folks like Mr. Writer whom i deeply respect. These babies are very, very strong. Approach with caution is all i'm saying. You could get a high dose by eating under one single 1/4 x 1/4 square if the posts/rumors are correct . . .

I think you'll be fine, you should take at least 1 hit. The sensory show of a concert can defintely floor you in a way where it's hard to get caught up in alot of the analytical 'mindfuck' of a trip.

That being said I don't think you should overdo it either because for me especially with MDMA I feel the sensory sensations can also boost the effects as well, I personally don't believe there is any blotter out there where 1 hit would be too much though.

The majority of dubstep sucks... Most of it sounds like a synthetic bass system doing this :puke: dubstep

And when 18 giant subwoofers in the club barf their electronic robot bass all over you, and your brain is blown out the back of your skull, its like one gigantic euphoric orgasm that shakes you from your very soul! MMMM crunchy basslines!

I'd rather have some house bass fuck me all over than get barfed on by that shit.

I dunno the first time I ever saw dubstep it was proceeding psytrance and dubstep just was not doing it for me, it's not EDM to me, it's like drum n bass retarded aborted fetus.

    Hahaha "dn'b aborted fetus."

Idk its like the hip hop version of drum n bass. Its a slower bouncier kind of beat so I feel you can even get a harder bass, because you can really drag it out and emphasize the wompiness.

Its always good to switch it up tho, womp one day, jam one day, psych out some other day.

You can get decent house with the wobble bass, try hearing 'analogue - Crystal Gypsy (Original Mix) Dirty tune.

Yeah if you've never tripped at a show before, try not to take more than 1. They are potent and 1 will be a great time.

Once the show is over, if you feel you haven't opened your head enough, you can take another hit and go flying into the cosmos.

You mind is really open after a show, there is no resistance to hold the trip back, you kind of dance out the negative energy and afterwards its buttery smooth sailing.

I couldn't even listen past the 2nd one, once I heard 'Lateralus sampled you have brought my hatred of this genre to a new level. I've already heard Nirvana and Bob Marley songs butchered by this shit i'm not going to bother to listen what they do to Tool.

Tripping at a concert is magical! I tripped ballz at Muse, DJ Shadow, Hot Chip, The XX, and various other random stuff at festivals etc, It is amazing!!!

The only problem I have is a sense of paranoia while pushing through a thick crowd.

I highly recommend tripping at a concert!!! (and candyflipping too if possible)

i've tripped at a concert before. i liked it. i did however get pretty pissed off about the mosh pitting, and kinda lost my cool. the crowd can be a bit much, but just remember...you are at a show, no one really cares if you're tripping. i don't think one shiva will be too much either. it might be very strong though :)
