I live alone, so while I often just go nude around the house during the summer, I usually wear have to wear clothes during the cooler months. A friend recently checked out my closet and found out that the mainstay of my home wear is skirts. I tired to convince her to call them "kilts", but she said, probably rightly, "Kilts aren't denim minis and micro-minis." So now she thinks I'm a cross-dresser. I don't think I am. Granted, the skirts I wear range from pretty short to very short... I don't like things advertised as kilts because they're so long, I might just as well wear pants. Minis and micro-minis are comfortable and airy (no underwear, of course) along with being very convenient... taking a whizz means just lifting up instead of unzipping, pulling it out, etc. And should a solo erotic moment arrive... no need to unbuckle the belt, open a button, unzip, etc. I'm a reasonably kinky guy... and willing to own up to those kinks. One kink I don't seem to have is getting sexually excited by wearing skirts. They're just what I find most comfortable. It doesn't make me feel like I'm a woman and I have no desire to put one on, stuff a bra with socks and go downtown in my glad rags. My friend says I'm in denial. I'll grant that it may be odd... but is it kinky?
I used to have a long Hippie skirt I wore around the house. It wasn't anything sexual at all it was just comfy. I have a kilt now my Fiance bought me. I wear it on special occasions. actually there is a picture of me in my profile album in it. Here's my rule of thumb. If you wear it because it is comfortable it is not kinky. If you wear it because it gives you a raging hard on then it is kinky. Peace Out, Rev J
Every reason you've given for wearing skirts seems reasonable to me. You live on your own, man, so what's the issue.
Sounds reasonable. It'd be a different story if you were out and about, or if the act of wearing women's clothing aroused you, but this seems like more of a utilitarian type of thing. That being said, it is definitely not the 'norm' and as such most people in your life will probably have trouble grasping what your doing with out jumping to conclusions (Like your lady friend did).
i have a lot of pants and shorts that don't require unbuckling, unbuttoning, and unzipping... you're not necessarily being kinky, but wearing clothes made for women when you're a man is pretty much the definition of cross dressing.

Honestly, think if you are in denial. If you are, dont hold it in, it will only make things more stressful in the mind. As being said.. do whatever that your most comfortable with... and fuck others and their opinions. Its your body and you can wear and do whatever you want to, right? So dont stress. If you're comfy with it, keep doing it. Only you know the real answer about whether you think are in denial or not. But clothes is clothes, their made from the same crap and serves the same purpose.
Thanks for the input. Okay... I'm a crossdresser. At least I'm one of the fun kinds. You should see what I'm wearing tonight... it's hot and completely fabulous.
