If you want a better sample of reactions to whatever it was you might choose a forum with more traffic though my advice would be to not bother if you're sensitive to skepticism as to the origins of your verse or to criticism in general. OTOH... The cyber version of taking your toys and stomping home makes me wonder if there's some weight to what was posted because if you actually did author the verse then you can ably handle yourself with the same aptitude with language that enabled you to create the now missing verse. Surely if you are an aspiring wordsmith then the concept that expressing doubt of its authenticity is a backhanded compliment shouldn't be beyond your grasp and saying "No way some regular dude wrote that!" is another way of saying, "That's a very professional piece". Your ability with words should enable you to creatively express that- being prolific enough to have created 300 other verses then the job of incorporating usernames and the specific wording in this thread in rebuttal should be child's play. It's a golden chance for you, the true writer of the verse in question make it quite plain to those silently reading that you are indeed the author and the doubter eats crow. Or you can take it down so people won't google it and find out who has been plagiarized.
man, so quick to judge. You inject personal bias from a perspective you have collected throughout your daily experiences, huh? To a point you are going to analyze a scenario and making suggestions, being very black and white. I would not refute that my actions were not affirmative toward the matter at hand, when an accusation was transmitted, so you then assume me to be sensitive to another individual's source of skepticism.. You have made many assumptions without knowing any background of the matter or me as a human being- nor reading the poem- nor have you taken time to hear a persons tone of voice which lets active listening assist us make a better conclusion.. I sure do appreciate that a person can have so much to say on a matter which they know little of, and create a surplus of words that better depict your dear opinion. no on the matter of writing, i have been urged to use discretion when releasing poetry over the web, as it entitles anyone to nab it up and use it for their own gain. but yeah, ive posted other poems.. way to be lazy and assume this one was just as likely plagiarized as the next. but ok man, cool. way to reconstruct my views in solidifying my choice to not post it here.. get some love in your bones man dont fucking strive to just throw in your two cents cause you have an opinion where you are going to question another creature. you seem very thoughtful, now work on being considerate- until someone gives you a reason to doubt them, you should not. i cannot expect this to be received and transcribed on a mutual premises- but your older than me show some courtesy and wisdom. i appreciate you taking time to say something, even though I dont find it charming. so i will be like you, and make an assumption.. you probably spend way too much time online. almost 15000 post and being nearly 50. Or maybe you think you have the best thing to say on everything? I don't care if any of these things are true, but its easy to insinuate something.. huh?
