this is a good reason to live in america. if americans were bat-shit crazy about soccer, our riots would be remarkably destructive. actually, in thinking about it, if you could popularize soccer in this country to the frenzy point, you could initiate a revolution, since the gov't would have to step up security around games, and we hate that shit. it would start as a riot, and transmute into people vs government. could be intense.
