Alright, i guess i have more than one question, lol. First, what is PMS? Is that when you have cramps, bloating, etc before your period (hence the "pre")? Because i thought you were "supposed" to get cramps during your period. So then, at what point does that generally occur? I ask, because i've been getting cramps (not as bad as during the first couple days of my period, but certainly noticable) around the time i suppose i'm ovulating. How normal is that, and why don't i know these things by now? LOL, i'm 21, mother of 2...you'd think i'd have this stuff figured out by now!
PMS is the time before your period when you feel crabby and bloated... It can be different for all women. I don't think it's abnormal to get cramps during ovulation but I am sure the causes for it are varied. I get cramps during ovulation because of something called a rupturing cyst. Basically it's an ovarian cyst that grows each month due to hormone fluxuations and then ruptures in sync with my ovulating.
Oh yes, I am always crampy during ovulation. It's one of my tell-tale signs that it's in progress. I get some wicked PMS. I turn into the biggest, well, I'm sure you know what I'm getting at. Hugs...
