It's actually not just Obama, the man doesn't have that much power. The US government has a system of checks and balances. The problem is that with the Dems controlling everything, there is no balance.

The Stimulus bill that didn't work was very destructive of our economic system. Keynes = fail. Billions and billions spent with little benefit. Government is incapable of doing anything efficiently. Government is very wasteful. Even Velma Ward (That was the name of the Franks and Beans lady, right?) is starting to realize that. They don't have enough time to work on extending the Bush tax cuts, which is vital to saving the economy, but they got time to debate extending amnesty to illegal immigrants. And when these illegals get amnesty and get the right to vote who are they going to vote for. Liberals, so of course the liberals want to invite the whole of Central America into the USA. If they don't extend those tax cuts all of our taxes are going up, but the House was in there listening to Stephen Colbert making jokes. And when John Conyers asked "Who is this idiot and what is he talking about?" and tried to kick him out and get back to work, some ole bitch said "let him stay, let him speak." Dumbasses.

They say the recession is over, they say the economy is growing now. What, growing 1.5% or so? What was it growing during the good years back in like 2003 or 2004, 5 or 6%? Bush did a lot wrong, there was a good bit that I didn't like, but he did some things well also. And the economy was quite good during his time, also.


Healthcare "reform" that is going to destroy the healthcare system is destructive. There is plenty that needs to be fixed, but this fool is destroying the system, not fixing it. Because of the mandates, the insurance companies are already raising some premiums because they aren't going to be able to make a profit otherwise. Some insurance companies are going to go out of business, and then those clients are going to be forced onto the government plan, which is just what Obama wants, more control over the people. ObamaCare is healthcare for healthy people. If you are old or need constant expensive care, you're screwed. Some government bureaucrat is always going to be in your business telling you that this isn't going to be paid for or you can't have that treatment. I think it was Diane Watson that said we should check out the beauty of the government system implemented down in Castro's Cuba before we criticize government run healthcare. What a dumb bitch. And Pelosi saying that they had to get the bill passed so that we the people can find out what is in the bill. Damn, you stupid bint, that's not the way America works!!! And what happened to Obama's promise that all the bills would be available for scrutiny by the public on the internet 5 days before the vote. And his promise that all the debates would be on CSPAN. Utter Bullshit!! He pushes legislation through as quick as possible. He had a vote on XMAS eve on the stimulus, I think it was. GOTTA GET IT DONE, QUICK QUICK QUICK!!!!

Cap and Trade is more bullshit, because there is absolutely no proof for global warming. More and more scientists are coming out saying, "You know what? The more I look at the data, the more I think there is nothing going on here, or that the earth is just in one of its cycles, or that there is more radiation coming from the sun." But Obama sees another opportunity to control the American people and hamper our economy with this destructive Cap and Trade that, by his own words "will cause electricity rates to necessarily skyrocket." He imposed a moratorium on drilling in the Gulf after that accident that is destroying the economy up there. There was no scientific thought or consultation before that decision. Just another opportunity to push his agenda on the America people. Plus, the Mexicans, Spanish, British and Chinese and probably the Russians and a few others are still drilling in Mexican and Cuban waters. The accident was a mess, no doubt, but now nature and biology has cleaned up the mess. And the chances of another accident are so slim. You address the situation and learn from your mistakes and move on. If you have a car accident, do you quit driving? We need to drill, so that we don't have to buy oil from the Saudis and other people that hate us.

But I'm just paranoid, right. Or am I racist? Fortunately, it's all going to be OK, because the dems are going to get flattened in Nov. at the ballot box. We need to get back to the founding principles of America; small government, less taxes, personal accountability and fiscal responsibility.

I use the VA system, government health care; I'm 62 and in bad health; I get everything I need, tests, doctor's visits, specialists even down to my medicine, most of which keeps me as healthy as possible.
