Anyone here into graffiti? I've became interested recently, havent done anythin yet tho. I especially like stencil graffiti, seems more interesting than straightforward tags. Found this site stencilrevolution.com so I now have lots of inspiration!!!

Stencil graff in my eyes is no more or less interesting than normal graf. A good piece of graf art and a good stencil are as good as each other... how ever "tagging" in my mind is not art... that just spraying a quick word.
Decent well thought out graff though is art and its good to see it being acknowleged more in the art world.

if your into stencil art you must know about Banksy... if not check him out. Good Ol London Graf artist :)

uh... i think tags are art... or maybe they're a science of letters... either way you know someones got style and probably can paint a sick piece if their handstyles/tags/throwups/etc are dope...

i used to tag when i was back in high school. it was sorta like the "in" thing to do in my group of friends. we would just go out, smoke blunts, and ride around the train looking for stuff to write on. philly and NYC are cities you'll see some of the most amazing graffiti in.

Last year a friend and I would tag different places, almost like a game. It was great, but we grew out of it.

I'm glad some of you posted sites. I just moved into a house with a pretty large basement. I had plans to graffiti the walls, floor, and ceiling. The only thing is I think of myself as being a semi-talented artist, however I have no experience with graffiti.

The way people get those sick peices that you like so much is through perfecting their letter structre in their tags and handstyles. You cant have one without the other.
