I saw Bassnectar on 3 doses and 4 points of molly in knoxville on the 24th... it was so intense i cant put what i experienced into words.. here is a pretty good vid though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaiu3_G4yl8&feature=related"]YouTube - BassNectar Live in HD.mov
Yeah mang, im going to there thing in Broomfield Colorado here soon. Its going to be sick! Butylone or MDMA? Hmmmm
MDMA duh! Although I haven't taken butylone but its MDMA. Take the butylone on top of the MDMA if you wish...
Is that one song in the video? Or two or three or you get the point maybe but can some one answer my original question.
I was there in Nashville too. I didn't pre-order the ticket but I was still able to pay at the door, thank God! I thought so too until I seen him live. Having 1000+ people fist pumping for a over an hour straight definitely gets you hype.. I'm old school though. I'd still rather have some good progressive trance or house. Something with more of a groove you can dance to.
Dx Bassnectar is super easy to tell if there are different songs in comparison to most techno. They are hella unique, hence the popularity. They don't just play the same thing over and over, and they don't make the track then go play it. He actually does a lot of the mixing there and changes it up a bit. Good shit. What music isn't the same sounding tho? Country is "ohh my dog died, TWANG" and rap is "Boom boom boop kill a nigaa biiitttchh" Techno is like "MMch MMch MMch" and rock is prob the most varied, but still sounds a like. All opera sounds the same, and so does classical. Though, none of these sound the same at all either, if you listen.
Ya I could see him this Friday but I saw him at Nocturnal, which was fucking insane, so I'd rather save my money for Gorillaz and Deftones.
Iv seen him 3 times this year, gunna see him this friday too. I do think hes overrated but I still love his shows. He really know how to get the crowd going.
his set at Nocturnal, texas was pretty amazing. I was dosed out of my mind and loving the huge rack of bassbins in the back. I don't think he's overrated. From a technical standpoint he is really effing good. all that timestretching and tempo changing is not easy to pull off in ableton live. Even though he uses a lot of sampled material his interaction with the crowd and control of making a set flow make his sets come alive. He has come a long way since he first started touring.
this chick dancing with me face was morphing and bending; pretty much like the fear and loathing hotel desk scene. was WEIRD. i also got stuck just starring up at the ceiling because the light reflections were so vivid up there. hah
