im just high and im thinking about how many times i have dosed, probably 50-65 times, and im wondering how much lsd is still in my brain.

im pretty sure its proven that lsd stays in your brain for a long time, and im just wondering if any of you guys have any idea what amount actually stays in your body and doesnt metabolize once it is ingested.'

i have yet to have a flashback and i am also wondering if the amount of lsd in your body is related to that, any thoughts?

Chloride is a binary compound of chlorine; a salt of hydrochloric acid. In health, blood serum contains 100 to 110 mmol/L of chloride ions... basically theres enough in your blood to destroy LSD Mol over time... As would Fluoride ...

From LSD, My Problem Child by Albert Hofmann

    "Pharmacological Properties of LSD
LSD is absorbed easily and completely through the gastrointestinal tract. It is therefore unnecessary to inject LSD, except for special purposes. Experiments on mice with radioactively labeled LSD have established that intravenously injected LSD disappeared down to a small vestige, very rapidly from the bloodstream and was distributed throughout the organism. Unexpectedly, the lowest concentration is found in the brain. It is concentrated here in certain centers of the midbrain that play a role in the regulation of emotion. Such findings give indications as to the localization of certain psychic functions in the brain.
The concentration of LSD in the various organs attains maximum values 10 to 15 minutes after injection, then falls off again swiftly. The small intestine, in which the concentration attains the maximum within two hours, constitutes an exception. The elimination of LSD is conducted for the most part (up to some 80 percent) through the intestine via liver and bile. Only 1 to 10 percent of the elimination product exists as unaltered LSD; the remainder is made up of various transformation products.
As the psychic effects of LSD persist even after it can no longer be detected in the organism, we must assume that LSD is not active as such, but that it rather triggers certain biochemical, neurophysiological, and psychic mechanisms that provoke the inebriated condition and continue in the absence of the active principle."

Not stupid for asking questions and accepting well documented answers. We get bombarded by a lot of propaganda on a daily basis . . . sometimes it's hard to weed through it all . . .

Stupidity is determined by a pattern of illogical, self-destructive, self-absorbed, irresponsibility exhibited over time.
I never got that from you based on your posts, quite the opposite.

As Spicey said, it is sometimes difficult to seperate the wheat from the chaff.
Now stupid would be if you looked into it, and still refused to accept the medical and clinical research.

Hey well now you know. I had to clear it up for some kids this weekend. Kind of annoying how non-psychedelic users are in awe of psychedelic users.

i lulz'd when you said "how much doesn;t get metabolized...?"
There would be some serious issues afoot if that was the case.

I was surprised a post like this would come from you haha.

As everyone else has been saying, you shouldn't feel embarrassed at all. The myth that LSD stays in your body, either in your brain or in the spinal cord, is very, very widespread. Honestly, it seems like just about every week I have to try to convince someone that it is entirely eliminated from your body in quite a short amount of time.

I like to think of myself as fairly persuasive, but even so many times at the end of the conversation I can see that they doubt what I am saying and would prefer to go on living with their preconceived notions without actually researching when all it would take is a short google search to verify what I'd said. There is literally ZERO evidence for LSD remaining in the brain/spine/spinal fluid and a mountain of research indicating it is entirely metabolized...but the myth persists because people dislike changing their minds or having their beliefs challenged lest their world view be altered.

Haha, sorry, Rant off, but as a scientifically minded individual and a skeptic, ignoring evidence is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Though LSD is rendered inactive by the body, in some the mind continues to accept its influence. Brain patterns can be altered. Is this bad or good - it is a matter of perception. For most the result is an opening in the reasoning and perception part of the brain and is very much conducive to a more open view of the world around them and beyond - which is a definite plus. I am 62 and in a definite need of another mind expanding experience. But acid becomes an exceedingly rare substance the older you get.

There is always the many mescaline containing cacti, all of which are legal in the U.S. except peyote. Trust me, 36" worth of San Pedro concocted into a tea will most definitely open ones mind in the most wonderful ways.;)
