Fred Zeppelin played near my friend and he saw and phoned me up on 'Babe I'm Gonna Leave You.' Who else celebrated the 35th Anniversary of Led Zeppelin II on Friday just gone? Sorry if I've stolen your thread.
ha its ok, i celebrated it, just a small group of my friends and me went to my friends house and listened to led zep all night and watched one of their live dvds...damn it what was it called.....
I had 'Complete Tarrant Concert', Fort Worth, TX, 22-5-1977 on earlier. :H Great 'Achilles' at this show I think!
i was this morning. Listened to physical graffiti during ceramics, ahh, so nice... i saw a led zeppelin tribute play here called "no quarter". Im sure that its nothing like a real zep concert, but i thought they did a great job. They actually had to play here twice(kind of goin off subject, but its a good story!) The first time was actually full of mishaps. It was in mid january or febuary, and i was sick as a dog, but i was deterimined to see them. I arrived and the opening band played, and they were just aweful...i went through so much agony being sick and listen to a band thats worse then limp bisket(hard to believe, but its true.)They played longer then they should of, cause word jsut got out the lead singer to no quater had the stomach flu or some sort, so he couldnt play. So once the opening band finished after what seemed like a 6 hour show, the remaining members of no quarter come up to play a instrumental show. So they start playing custard pie rocking out hardcore!!! when suddenly a power outage takes place. After a few minutes, the drummer decided to play moby dick, which was badass! The power didnt come up for a long time, so i decided to leave. Luckly they came back a month later and played one hell of a show! thats my zeppelin cover band story
I saw Robert Plant when he was touring with The Who in 2002. He was wearing a gold lamé tunic. I just thought that was pretty funny. hehe.....hot stuff.
