Tru Dat Ranger, all in all I say after the gas and the 140 seed money we broke about even but it was fun and something we rarely ever do. We tried and tried to think of something to do but we couldnt think of anything in the middle of the week that would be going on close by.

That's how we ended up at the boats, we knew where they were, a straight shot down I-20 and in 1hr n 47 mintues we were there... We used to go more but money wasnt as tite as it is now.

I DiD want to stay and feed every last cent we had into those one armed bandits but I listened to my higherself and agreed that the $$ could be more well spent somewhere else, Jack Binion did not need my 200$ he has pleanty of his own.

I also know not to get greedy, that's when you leave empty handed, you get mesmerized and lose all restraint, that and the booze they ply you with for free. The more marguritas I had the higher I'd bet. It paid off at first but I could tell when it started to grow cold. That's when I stopped. I could feel the marguritas starting to take affect and I knew it was time to load up.

So, here I sit with my 200$ burning a hole in my pocket. Both hubby and I need some new shirts so I think I will get us some and he can share in the bounty as well, as small as it may sound, it's a lot to us.

    Blessings

I think that it is so cool you and he got a Free Vacation for your 25th anniversary. You both deserve it. Good for you. Free food, drinks, entertainment, and they even paid for your gas. How fun!

    Congrads on 25!

T/Y Kenny and Good Morinin' ALL,

As I am getting ready to go to Houston this afternoon. I cannot help but feel compelled to write this.

I have been taking my sister to doctors, chemo, Houston ect for about 14 mos now and every time we go the topic arises, not from us but from the docs/techs/PAs. SMOKE MARIJUANA, have you tried using it for pain/nuasia/peace of mind/appitite. Sis lost 46lbs due to complications of radition therapy. Her stomach went to sleep and stopped working.

She droped almost to deaths door, we were all thinking, this is it. she herself feel her life slipping away. What to do, What to do?????? We were frantic. About 6 weeks ago she had heard about someone who was cured of pancreatic cancer by using Cannibis.

Having old contacts from SoCali, she flew over and spent a week smoking the most potient MMJ availble. The pills the doc gave her stopped working. While she was using the MMJ her stomach would wake up and act right, well better at least.

She felt better and her head was in a better place, she even gained a little weight 4lbs :) But now what, she cant move to SoCali. MMJ is illeagal here, even tho the medical proffession have found it usefull in aiding many illness's.

I cant vote in the upcoming election for MMJ in Cali bc I am not a resdident anymore. But thoese of you that are can. If the Bill passes it will help these other states where it is still a felony.

My boy Jomie sits in prison right this very minute bc he smokes MJ.. prison for pot?!? Isnt there something more dangerous to the public then pot that they could be focusing on and spending our tax $$ on.

58% of americans are for MMJ and if the majority rules then what the hell?!? Why cant my sister have her medicine and why is my boy in prison. Why/How can the gov do this to it's ppl.

They need to stop building prisons to house MJ users and start building MMJ clinics. Can you imgain having cancer and a cure was out there but the gov wont let you have it bc of Polotics. What happen to BY The People, For The People. Where are our Human Rights going? Why are we letting it happen.

Sorry for the rant y'all, I'm just so close to the situation that it's overwhelming sometimes. There are hundreds of thousands of ppl out there in the same situation or worse. It stirs my rage and consumes my very being.

I just pray for an end to the buracracy, while they hide behind closed doors and ruin our lives with their money grubbing and terroristic attacks on the poeple.

I pray for Blessings for all of us

I'm so sorry for your sister's plight, Cakes. Is it possible she could get some medical dope from a neighboring state? I don't know what the law is in OK, LA etc., but I'm guessing at least New Mexico might have joined the 21st Century.

Just to clarify: Medical Marijuana is already legal in California. The proposal on the November ballot is to actually legalize personal possession for recreational use. And, the idea seems to be gaining support, according to the most recent polling:

Of course you are right in this and I hear you completely.

I'm praying for your sanity, for you son, and of course for your sister's next test results and the rest of it. It's about time to hear some good news, now, after 14 months. I've heard that pancreatic cancer is one of the toughest ones but she'll beat it. Like, Chris also has one of the toughest ones. I'm praying for him too, because I haven't heard much from him and I'm concerned about his struggle. He's got kids and a lady who all need him so I know that he'll be okay in the long haul.

    Yeah, what beachdog67 said.

They're trying to make under an ounce legal in California for any person who is 21 or older. Plus grow your own is a 5 by 5 foot area would be legal, plus taxes for the schools and broke counties and cities, and I think there's something about commercial growth and taxation and transactions like to existing medical m j sales places. Something like that.

    See the Proposition 19

Can we lease a farm somewhere and then sub lease 5 by 5 foot plots to city folks and apartment dwellers in Cal, and to everybody who's is over 21 who lives in New York City? Not to mention Japan and Germany? Let's start a 30 billion dollar internet paying business. Who needs to own a casino? I'd go for the sure money.

    Your thoughts?

Anyone ever think of the international tourist business? Discounts on our own mass chartered flights. Discounts in mass hotel bookings. Painted hippies bus travel. Travel to your owe garden and pick your stuff?

There was a Gold Rush to California in 1849. People just don't seem to have any VISION. If this proposition passes we are going to be living witnesses to the new California Gold Rush 2010. It will be massive. Millions will move.

Ranger can get rich selling the picks and shovels, just like they did back in 1849.

I'll repeat, "People just don't seem to have any VISION."

Everybody please get back to me on this one.

    Think BIG

    Hey Chris
Good to see you brother, I hope you are feeling well these days.

I'm back from Houston. all in all no real bad news, just more and stronger chemo for my sister. Thank you ALL for the good energy and healing vibes. It helps, it comforts and is nurishing to the Spirit.

On an eariler post of mine I was talking about the MMJ for pancreatic cancer, I got it wrong, it was not someone she knew. It was an artical in the Dallas Times. I had a chance to read the artical and we did present it to her Oncologest at MD Anderson.

The artical stated that pancreatic cancer cells commit suiside when using Cannibis. It did not however say what kind or how much that the woman used to make her cancer cells commit suiside, just that it had occured while usuing MMJ.

The Oncologest said the only research has been for the aid in nausea. He furthur stated that more clinical studies should be made if Cannibis does have properties that will induce cancer cells to die on their own, without drugs with harsh/deadly side affects. I do hope they legalize it soon.

The weather is lovely, a time of renewal and a season of growing roots for a sturdy foundation and enrichment of the being. The air has a cool crispness in it with promise of colder weather coming. We prepare for change. With the wood gathered it's time to bring out the splitter and make those huge rounds of wood into smaller uniformed stackable sticks for the fire place.

Time to bring in the outdoor plants and return them to their indoor home and make space on the front porch for the stacking of the wood. Sheltherd from the rain and close to the front door :)

I hope everyone is enjoying the Fall and wishing Bright Blessings for us All

    Hi Cakes,

Been lost in the Ozone again. Glad that you liked the picture on our site. Glad that you're inspired and loving the nostalgia for sure. Of course we can't do any major building of stuff until we start buying a 100 or 200 acre ranch but prefab and big tent can always happen without building permits. And buying Nor Cal and So Cal land will certainly be a part of the game plan. Do you prefer a bus or a trailer?

I hope that your day is cruising along wonderfully well.

Chris has been on the other forum and we've both been writing some long stuff. He says that he has templates and other stuff that will help me in writing all of the nonprofit corp bylaws and the charter, and maybe the corp business plan. You're a charter member, right?

I do hope that beachdog wants be in the mix one way or another. He is very sharp and very pragmatic. (wise). And he's great company. Ranger and Rita are off working. Ranger told me that things have picked up for them dollar wise. We'll hear from him after the weekend. I miss Zenbo. He was fun. Talkin' about nostalgia. I never did hear (e-mail) back from Debbi from Accenssion. Maybe someday.

    Talk wit Cho Lata, Kenny

I always enjoy the mornings and yes, very well t/y :)

I am of course on the Bus or trailer which ever route is availible. I also happen to be a charter member in good standing ;)

Good to hear Chris is digging around and comin' up with some basic tools to get things rolling along.. T/Y Chris!!

Maybe we could find an old vineyard that has been abondond somewhere in the valley ( nocali) or something like that. Have a 'tent city' till we got the means n permits to build.

I think when we get the land ppl will contribute more energy and $$

Without the Dreamers There Is No Dream.

Charter, bus, tent, trailers??? Charter bus??? What happened to hippy buses and teepees? lol An option to old vinyards might be an old orchard giving us some shade and maybe a few trees that might be nursed back to production. I vote for norcal or oregon or......

It has to be a place where it's decriminalized to use MMJ bc our theam is X rated in some circles. My vote is NoCali bc Oregon already has OCF and Cali is decriminalized. Plus the weather there gets cold eairly in the fall. Cali has warmer temps and no snow or torrents of rain.

But whatever is more accessable, an old orchard would be groovy :) With a pond or small lake.

We have a bus but it needs an engine or engine repair.# 3 son is an ace mechanic and can most likely fix it. Tenting it is not something I want to do anymore. When we got our little camper I swore I wouldnt do tents again..lol My bones grumble when I sleep inna tent. Called me spoiled and spoiled I am when it comes to sleep. I gotta have cold air and soft cousions.

I do Love the idea of buss's and tents, it gives it a flair of affaire. Campers and booths set up with the aura of the 60s, with original hippies at the helm :) How Sweet Can It Get?!?

I am really in gear for this. I think it is something that will happen for us. Lets just do it :)

    Blessings
