As someone who is not an American, this thread just makes me chuckle...

The world *does not* revolve around the USA, nor is it some kind of paradise other nations should aspire to.
Get some perspective people...

 

The travel brochures are very nice though.

 

Aside from our crumbling infrastructure, our "only for the rich" health care system, the obscene distribution of wealth, our inhumane treatment of the poor, a corrupt political system that excludes all but Christians, and our arrogant attitude toward the rest of the world, don't you think we've got a little piece of Heaven here?

^ I believe we do. Here in america I can walk down the street and see an endless see of boarded up homes with my fellow man sleeping on the porches and sidewalks.

America is pretty decent, the diversity is awesome.

 

The American Dream - beating all odds and accruing more wealth than you can ever have any possible use for at the expense of fellow citizens. What's more noble than becoming a billionaire and keeping it stashed away in a bank account somewhere so x amount of people can never use it?

 

ummm. does the united kingdom have a stronger military than the united states. can you guys take us over. No you cannot.

America is the strongest Military force at the moment. I am not talking about american society, or our country. I honestly like other countries way more for that matter. I would much rather live in Europe than the USA.

Like I said this thread is only about America's Military and GLOBAL CONTROL!!

this thread is about technology and how easily it can destory our world and how America works to prevent it. Many countries are allies with us but we are still the strongest global control.

You guys are missing the whole entire point of this thread. Every Response here has nothing to do with what I am talking about.

 

You know a thread has reached the apex of critical thinking when it boils down to "can you guys 'take us over' or not"

can any of you stay on topic? let's see? I really was hoping to get a good debate going and get some good responses. Yet I get all these garbage responses complaining about how America is run. I am talking about military force and controlling the world from evil domination. I am speaking about stopping world destruction and utter chaos.

If you disagree with me tell me why? i am talking about how can we keep this world safe and protected without strong military control? I just don't see how with technology in this day and age. and if you got an idea then post it please.

 

The reason everyone is talking about money in a thread about American war is because they know the two topics are inseparable.

because the point of this thread is about how america watches other governments closely and how america monitors all emails and all electronic communications. and how america keeps a close watch on the whole world and what everyone is doing.

America is watching at all times to see if any group threatens this world.

really I should not even call it america. I should call it the "Secret Agency of GLobal Control". It just happens to be an American run agency that yes works with other countries too. SO I can't say it's just American.

what you're saying doesn't make sense. i saw a signature of a user on these forums a long time ago that said "fighting for peace is like fucking for virginity".
most problems with economy is at the root.
why do people, or let's say animals, fight in general? animals fight for territory, for food, for protection. and that is due to scarce resources; not enough land, not enough obtainable food for their family and for survival. the mentality, or corruption u can call it, of continual fighting has still existed to this day with humans, they just do it in a more "sophisticated" way (ironically, war is also filthy). but when resources are not scarce anymore, what happens? or actually i should ask what should happen?

 

To the OP, if your talking JUST WAR. Of course, because americas leaders are coward, have been for many years now. And the government spends the peoples money on new guns, bullets, grenades, flamethrowers, missles, rockets, planes, tanks, humvees, satellites, body armor, knives, telecommunications, etc. etc. rather than take care of the people they rape the people of their wealth until they are homeless and the leaders have the bullies working for them..

an agency needs to be appointed. in this system, America is in control because they're the bully to other countries. america is simply the most powerful at this time, just like the romans and their reign.

 

Agreed, and we are not animals scavenging in the jungle anymore. He have enough to go around 10 fold, every living person can have a home, food, and your little toys your all so fond of and still work towards the future. i was amazed that there wasn't more anti war protesting, until i realized that by the numbers , these last few "wars" pale in comparison to Vietnam, Korea,, ect..
our losses , by the numbers, was very small. of course, they don't count the wounded, or those with all the mental after effects that comes from putting humans in that situation.
id say that war is only part of the human animal when we get in large herds.and technology has made it easy to kill without seeing the faces.
war is a tool of governments, yes, we need to protect ourselves, but we don't need to be dicks about it, or we lose sight of what made this social experiment of a country last this long. take over America?? your paranoid. our private citizens are almost as well armed as our soldiers.
