Never yet - however I'm giving a deposition on Monday.

I have thought that if I had ever joined the military as a combatant when I was the normal age to do so, I would have died very quickly, cuz I didn't have the kind of single-minded devotion and sharp instincts to make a good warrior. Oh, and I turned 18 the last year of the draft lottery during the Vietnam war - I got a high number and never got called, and then Nixon started recalling troops.

Yes - we used to have six. We gave five of them away before moving 1200 miles. I brought Tiger with me when I came alone in a U-Haul truck with the last load of stuff. At the beginning of the trip he was frantically meowing and trying to bite his way out of the soft carrier I put him in. By the end of the trip, he was a seasoned and mellow traveller, and when I put him near the opening of his carrier at the beginning of the day, he voluntarily crawled right into it.

Yes, and never will again - it turns into a tough, gummy mass in your mouth that you can never chew into smaller chunks.

The first one that pops into my mind is when I was in high school. I went with some friends - including my girlfriend - to the beach at Santa Cruz. I went into the restroom to change into my swimsuit, and my girlfriend came in while I was half undressed, and said, "What are you doing in here?" "Changing," I said. "What are YOU doing in here?" "It's the women's restroom!" she said.

Actually it was pretty damned funny.
