Hello. My friend had two questions about doing a cold water extraction of Hydrocodone (or any other opiate). He has never done a CWE before in his life but he has researched it extensively on the internet and now he believes he is prepared enough to do it. It seems like a pretty straight forward, simple process. My friend has four Watson brand Hydrocodone/Apap, 5/500. He wants to extract the Hydrocodone from the Acetamenophen, which will leave him with more or less 20 mg of the Hydro. His questions are: 1) For four caplets of the Watsons 5/500, how much water should he use to perform the extraction? 2) Before dissolving the caplets, should the water be hot, warm, or cold? How hot/cold should it be exactly? He has read several guides and each one of them says something else about this step. Some say the water should be "hot but not boiling," other guides say it should be cold. He is stumped about this and does not want to mess up. What temperature should the water be exactly to initiallydissolve the caplets? 3) Will it matter if there is no acetamenophen in order to help bind to the opiate receptors or will this not matter? Thanks!
i don't know the actual info, but i don't think you need to cwe that. its only 2grams of ace which i believe is the max dosage for a day which isnt going to damage your body unless you have a liver disease or something. cwe is only worth it when youre dealing with like 7+ 5/500s at once, or if you are drinking alcohol.... even if you have a drink or 2 nothing bad should happen... but try and not taking ace/ibuprofen/asprin on a regular basis... but on topic, i dont know the minimum ammount of water to use, but im sure if you use a cup of veerrrrry cold water and crush the pills and dump them in it should have the same results
but if youre only planning on taking 4 just go ahead and pop them, i know people whove popped like over 10 a day for months, im sure thats not healthy but taking 4 wont hurt you, you'll feel great btw sorry for double post
wow 3rd post.... to answer your questions 1. its about 100ml per 10 pills so do math 2. people i know like to start warm then cool it, others like to put it in straight up cold water. seems like both have advantages/disadvantages, i personally skipped the warming part. 3. if there is no ace then there isnt much of a point of cwe.... but dissolving the pill in a liquid should make it hit harder/faster
You don't need a set amount of anything for a CWE. Use enough water to cover up the powder, swirl it around. Water should be warm on the first pull. Cold on the second one. Honestly, though... who the eff would waste their time doing this?
