Being an old web designer from 1997, I'd put money on the world wide weird.

Everyone thinks that the web is some flawles computer thing. What folks don't know is that the whole Internet is actually held together with used bandaids, very old kite string, used bubblegum, and when they can afford it, baling wire. And servers do crash.

Some cities/counties are already looking at setting up legal sales & taxing structures (usually building off what's already being done with medical marijuana). But others are holding back.

If this passes (a big "if" at this point) it potentially sets up a fascinating and weird conflict between state and local cops and the feds.

However this all plays out, it's gonna be interesting to watch.

 

Here's the deal.

Well if it passes, We will be the centeral party. That's my plan.
My brother is a retired county sarg. Cal (no names) and he says it will pass. "The state needs the money." "Nobody wants all of these higher taxes we're paying."

I've seen no talk on these forums about it. I did see one message elsewhere where a girl from Canada was saying that if it passes, she would move so that she could grow her own little group of plants without fear.

Someone my sister Lynn knows someone who was cured of pancreatic cancer from smoking high grade cannibis. It's crime NOT to let ppl have the cure for cancer at their disposal when it grows wild.

I do pray that this passes and all states follow suit so that texas will join the cause so my sister can have a chance to live out her natural life without chemo, without pancreatic cancer. We leave sunday, back to Houston.

Onna happier note, Hubby told me to load my ass up in the blazer yesterday morning. I complied and we blazed off the Louisiana to the boats. WOOT WOOT. It was our 25th aniversary.

We arrived at our destination around noon, got our reward cards and headed off to the casino. It was earily so there wasnt a lot of ppl taking up all the games We each had 70$ to play with and the drinks were free.

I started off with a water and a 1 cent slotmachine. I hit the button and let er rip... bingo 5$ woot woot, then another 15 yeehaww. A few more pulls and ..I'm rollin' in coin. Pretty soon I'm up to 140.

I cashout and go find hubby Lynn. His eyes pop a little and I takes my ticket n gets $$. I go find another slot and this time I play max bet.. and order a margurita or 3.. Weeeeee. I keep hitting free spins and racking up the dough. I got up to 378.00 and the slot when cold, so I cashed out and sought out hubby again to flaunt my big bucks in front of him. I gave him 200 to hold so I wouldnt feed it back into the slots and gave him 100 to play with bc his luck was not so good.

My luck was good enough for both of us. We ended up bringing 200 home and got 2 free buffets for earned credits. Yippie!! all the food we could eat. Gotta love it.
