I'm trying Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance; it's a leave in conditioner. I've never tried it before, but a friend said it's the best she's had, so will give it a go!

The last I had was Burt's Bees which was good, but rather dull.

I know people who use it daily and they have beautiful think hair. So, I'm guessing it's one of those rumours.

It was excellent! I'd already seen AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK (about Quentin's life in America), but THE NAKED CIVIL SERVANT is far superior (IMO). Of course, it lacks the awesome song by Sting. :D

    So this morning:

    1. Felt ill, so stayed in bed.
    2. Felt a little better after a nap, so had some tea.
    3. Came online and got irritated by some new posters.

Not sure what was worse after all

Well, I feel a little better but now have a horrible sore throat which kept me up all night

    Oh, I just love cows!

I have big plans for the next three days, so I am guessing my day will be something like this..

    1. Drinking hot drinks.
    2. Wrapping up warm with a hot drink.
    3. Resting, wrapped up warm with a hot drink.

Sounds like you're doing all the right things. Hope your throat is better soon. :) I woke up sneezing like a maniac.

    1. Drinking lots of Theraflu (a hot drink).

    2. Reading: THE STRANGER.

    3. Have 3 DVDs to watch: SHAMPOO, THE NOTORIOUS BETTIE PAGE, and CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND (about Chuck Barris). :D

Thanks. :) Camus is impressive. I like his ideas about people and life. I just wish I could read/speak French - I wonder about what is lost in translation.

All week I have done pretty much the same thing. When I got back home after 3 weeks on the road, I discovered in my pile of mail a summons for Jury Duty.

    So, today I:

    1. Took an hour-long bus ride downtown to the Dade-County Courthouse.
    2. Went into courtroom with other prospective jurors for a 3-week trial.
(Monday there were 110 of us - today down to 54. I'm still a potential juror)
    3. Took hour-long bus ride home.

Still have to go back tomorrow (and maybe for the next 3 weeks) :(

It sounds like it's been a really rough day for you. :( I hope tomorrow is much better. I know it sounds corny, but this too will pass. I often have to keep that in mind. You're a strong person. Misery doesn't have to be a forever thing. You're in my thoughts. :)

Hope the Jury Duty ordeal - will not last much longer, Shale. I miss your posts. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. :)
