Why do women get tattoos on their boobs?

One of my (5) tattoo's is a 1" x 1 1/2" on my chest, slightly above my left boob, and a couple of inches below my collar bone.

All my tatts are spiritual in nature and very meaningful to me. This was the first tho, and I WAS originally going to have it put on my boob because I simply wanted it close to my heart as a physical reflection of what it meant to me spiritually. No skanky reason to it, ..or for getting it at all for that matter.

The tattooist tho convinced me to make the placement shift. I had not yet had a child and he said that tattoo's done on boobs pre pregnancy, look shit post pregnancy when the boobs naturally droop a little. Basically he said the pic can get stretched out/distorted to varying degrees, or even end up with stretch marks running through it.

So I agreed to his suggestion to move it to a flat portion of my chest that wont be so subject to skin conditions fluctuating and effecting the tattoo's appearance.

It is not a fashion statement, attempt to be tough, nor for a guys viewing pleasure. There was meaning behind it's intended placement, and sense behind it's altered placement. If my heart was in my foot, then I would have considered putting it there and probably moved it to my ankle when it was pointed out tatt's dont last well on feet.

It's not about anyone else, ... it just suits me!

 

She's got the right idea, it's about what suits her. As long as the tat doesn't look stupid, & it looks right on her, & she's happy with it, that's all that fucking matters.

Breaks my heart when women ruin a perfectly good tit with a tattoo. Boobs are nice enough as just boobs.

You guys are crazy. Tattoos, as long as they're tasteful in size and design, are incredibly sexy on either sex. I think of it as an accent to a woman's beauty, not a marring.

Straying from the topic, but this brings up a story from a nude Saturday I spent a local resort. As I'm sure most of you know, nudism isn't about showing off my penis or seeing hot women bare-assed...

But one day I saw a woman who had tattoos of vines coming down her chest and breasts, curling just beneath her aureoles, and around the the other side until finally ending just moments away from the top her nips. Not only was it an interesting look, the workmanship was exquisite. I couldn't help but stop and say, "Wow... "

If I'd had just casually walked by and said, "Great boobs!" (and they were... especially her hard nipples) she would have reported me to resort management and I'd have been tossed on the spot. However, because I obviously liked the artwork, she was okay with me staring at her tats... and she even invited me to get a closer look at the details. So there I was, out in the open, a breath-mint away from a stranger's nipples, saying, "this is Art."

Odd how everything can be different depending on the situation.

It truely depends... If its a paw tattoo its a tit tramp. Those sicken me. Ive met a few girls who who tattoos around their breasts which were amazing - it was art. Those animal paws and writing "love" on their booby is just a tit tramp... Zzzzzz lame.
