I'm a hip geeky chick here, just looking to make some online friends. I work a lot, I'm 28, and I party a lot as well. I also drink a lot of coffee and play a lot of video games (mostly steam games lately). My interests include linux and FOSS, traveling, gardening, and the great outdoors.

I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Hello Nicole! Raleigh? Well I was almost there in August. I was near I-40 and the area of the RDU airport in Morrisville/Cary. Remind me not to have Sunday as my full day down there unless I'm with friends. It was quite boring, sad to say. :(

Im way at the very start of the education line lol pretty easy just now its not a higher course just an introductory one (national qualification) will have to do a few courses maybe go to uni, im thinking about doing networking though im not sure. Stuff we're doing just now is binary (combinational logic) internet safety, hardware/software, networking, internet architecture blah blah blah you know the script lol

I think those are very interesting and definitely useful courses to have. The degree is mostly theoretical anyway, so have some patience before getting your hands dirty, so to speak. ;) One of my favorite classes was combinatorics and then later switching theory and logic. I use the stuff I learned from computer architecture on a daily basis as a system administrator, even though I originally went to school because I wanted to do software development. (Technically, I now enjoy the best of both worlds as a lot of my job entails debugging the kernel for various reasons, but I digress.) Stick with your passion!

It was my first time in the area. Made the mistake of having the full day there on Sunday, not being willing to get extorted by a cabbie at the airport (RDU) for $28 minimum each way. I wasn't driving when I was down there.

Ha ha! Thanks for the support! I do want to go to North Carolina again, only next time to the Charlotte area. Maybe when Southwest actually flies there. Until then...
