Why are people all of the sudden caring if someone burns a religious book?

 

This goes to the reason that freedom is so difficult. Too many people have found the perfect social philosophy and they think if they can just force it on everyone else the world will be a perfect place. What you end up with is millions of people trying to force others to live lives they don't want to live.

Burning the Quran is an expression of frustration that these heathens are not going with the "Christian plan" and the Muslims see it as the ultimate insult. It's not the burning of the book, it's the symbolism of the act, which is meant to inflame and insult.

is he so dumb that he doesn't know that most, if not all of it would be struck down as unconstitutional?

but he's probably scaring people, which is all that matters
