So what exactly is Oxycontin. I'm hoping I'm in the right forum. I was informed that it is a hardcore pain killer, mostly given to cancer patients. What exactly does it do, high and effects on your body-wise?
something you dont want to touch some people will tell you its great but i dont think they know about a full opiate withdrawl
Bro think about the BEST you have ever felt in one specific second of time, like getting the girl, winning the lottery or someother event like that to cause a flood of endoprhines and other shit that makes u all happy and feel nice...well times that by about 20 and thats how OC feels...but indeed my friend is correct with such AMAZING feelings come HORRIFIC withdrawals once u STOP taking that opiate...so basically imagine how good u feel when ur on OC, well the other end is just as bad cuz its AMAZINGLY painfull and basically impossible to escape the draw towards opiates once addicted..
Hitman, As lovely and amazing as OC makes you feel, I'd reccomend staying away from it for another couple years if you can. It only took me about two weeks of steady use for chronic pain to become entirely addicted. People on this forum flip SHIT when any inexperienced user asks about Heroin, but honestly, if I were you, I'd be JUST as worried about Oxy as H. That said, I LOVE the Oxy high as much as the next guy. So just make sure you experiment with low doses at first. -V
dude i wasn't condoning the abuse of such a drug as Oxycodone...its extremly addictive as is any opiate...dude ask any person dependent/addicted to opiates and they will ALL tell you the same thing; "I wish i would of never even touched it" basically bro stay away from this class of drugs, its withdrawals last a lifetime once ur addicted (which dont take LONG!!) ...
I agree 4 years ago I started and well, 15-20k later maybe more im regretting it. 600 for 10 80's at a time twice a month. Ouch!!
Wow, troy...thats one of the worst I've heard payouts I've heard of... Unfortunately, the reason I take opiates is for pain, but...that being said, I've worked my way up the scale as far as dosage, purposefully asking for my doctor to prescribe me more than I actually need so that I can "get high" or rather "get low" whenever I want as well as treating the pain. At this point, I'm prescribed a mere 70mg per day in the form of oxy 20's and perc 10/325's - half of which is absolutely NECESSARY for the pain, the other half...is JUST as necessary for pleasure - something I now cannot find in ANYTHING unless I have opiates as well. The worst part is that I often take more than I am prescribed per day, causing me to run out 2-4 days early each 3 week prescription period...Those days....they are the WORST kind of hell imaginable. So be warned. Opiates are a lifelong relationship - of the love/hate variety! Oxy makes you feel like every pore of your body is expanding to let in this lovely warmth and happiness. Take enough, and you'll find yourself in a state of drowsy, itchy bliss, where your problems and pain all float away.
What people fail to realize is that Oxycontin isn't some big bad NEW drug to hit the market and was created to ruin lives. Oxycontin = Extended Release Oxycodone. When taken orally, as prescribed, you are getting whatever the dose is, say 40mg, spread out over a 12 hour period (some say it's more like 8, but you get the idea.) So if you take that information, and divide 40mg over 8 hours, you will see that hypothetically you are only consuming 5mg per hour. Now that is not exactly how it works...considering the first "dose" of the time-release that hits you has a bigger amount to let's say...start you off...and then the rest of the dosage is split over the rest of the 8-12 hours. Now, if you choose to crush it (not just take of the coating, as the coating has NOTHING to do with the time-release, contrary to idiots belief) and you snort or inject that...then you are taking all of that dose at once, which is why it can get dangerous. Oxycontin = Time Released Oxycodone Roxi's AKA Roxicodone AKA Blues = Instant Release Oxycodone Percocet = Instant Release Oxycodone AND Tylenol/APAP (Which over time, especially in higher doses, destroys your liver) So all this dumb crap that Oxycontin is some drug that is completely different and some new dangerous opiate is just a load of bullshit. I know kids who pop 5-10 Percocet 10's at once (mind you, that is 50-100mg of Oxycodone at one time, and ALSO at the VERY LEAST, 325mg of Tylenol/APAP PER tablet, meaning they are taking 1625-3250mg of Tylenol/APAP at the same time. In my opinion, Oxycontin is much safer of an Oxycodone formulation then Percocet is. But 90% of people who ask these questions OR answer them do not explain that Oxycodone is Oxycodone, and Percocet has the SAME damn drug in it as OxyContin, except OxyContin doesn't have nasty APAP to ruin your liver.
I said not to waste your time trying to remove 2000mg of APAP from FOUR Percocet 10mg's, unless they have even more APAP, which the most in a Percocet I believe is 650mg...which makes it 2600mg. Which is a little more then half of the recommended daily intake of APAP. That is the max DAILY intake. You were worried about how you have been taking larger doses of APAP and Ibuprofen and such over the past few weeks, which has no bearing on what you were asking about. It is pointless to do a CWE on 4 fucking pills to cut out 2600mg of APAP on 40mg of Oxycodone. But do as you want, I was simply trying to tell you that you are going to lose more in the process, and it's not going to be worth it.
