Hi, I am a new member and am looking for advice or anyone who can relate to my story because I am unsure what to do.

I had a dream where I was driving around my deceased grandmothers neighborhood with my mother and a girl named Kelly I went to high school with. We were driving in my aunts car. (also a motherly figure towards me)
It was just after an intense thunderstorm and the sun was low in the sky. It was lighting up the edges of the clouds. They were golden tinged with light
and all around we saw golden tinged rainbows.
We then stopped at a bathroom in the current town I live in.
Then I was sitting next to Kelly in church near the back of the room and her ex-boyfriend and his friend nervously looked around while we sat happily together.

It was an extremely intense dream and I awoke in the middle of the night too amazed to sleep for some time. I have never had a dream like it before.
I have always had feelings for Kelly but we were both quiet introspective people and never spoke in the past.
I recently broke up with my girlfriend and surprisingly she broke up with her boyfriend at the same time.

I want to contact her but I am somewhat unsure of how to go about it and I am afraid of what will happen.

    thoughts??

Yes you should, dreams are often a message from your subconscious.

The dream, in my book, talks about your wish to come together, but wishes can be fishes - at least in waking life. Consequences, or reactions of another can't be planned in the way you may have wished for, as they are in someone else's court, and to be afraid of the outcome could be a warning signal.

Let synchronicity take care of whatever is going to manifest, inspite of your sympathy for her ... honor the dream and all who partook. It's like roles in a play they came into the dream for to act it out already. The consequence is happiness. So just be happy with yourself without a plan, and honor the dream.

    These are my three cents.

I sent her a message via facebook and tried to say whats up on aim. Maybe a bit too random for her but who knows. If she replies cool, if not cool. I can at least stop thinking about the dream and wondering if I should contact her.
    Thanks for the replies.

I had a dream about my bff from kg-12th grade. We hadn't talked in years and she was looking at me like "What the fuck are you doing with your life"
I called her up, apologized for our bad break-up and now are bff again :)
Yes, your subconscious is telling you something!

I never heard back from her. I had hoped my dream had more of an understandable literal connection to reality. Doesn't seem to be that way.

dreams are a powerful tool we have as a member or the animal kingdom. Now unlike other animals which they cannot dissect their dreams in the manner we can. I mean, they cannot think on multiple levels about their dreams. Now dreams themselves are an interesting topic. They can range from anything from nonsense images that last fractions of a second to long drawn out sequences. when i was younger i used to get those nightmares as well as nonsense dreams. But as I got older (and when I started experimenting with drugs oddly) my dreams have drastically changed. I cannot lie as I dream much less now than ever. They now adays consist of either long drawn out movie like stories or 100% relates to my life some how. A few times I dreamed about minor occurances before they happened weeks later in real life. though being minor it goes to show you that dreams can be sometimes a lot more than just images. It is your brain processing, without your filters on since your technically still in an unconscious state. Which is weird in a sense, since most of the drugs I did remove my brians filters. dreams can be a calling of energy from beyond this world , which brings a subject to light that could benefit you greatly in life. That is if you take the time to think and reflect
