    That's interesting.

Spiders actually web up the stink-bugs legs (think like an AT-AT in Star Wars), and let other bugs eat their insides.

I've actually seen a spider doing it, and then my girlfriend told me that during her reading placement test for college that she had to read an article about one of the insects that breaks open the stinkbug and eats it.

Um.. it was just your average small household spider. I'll take a picture if it's still there.

    really depends

I will give it to you that in most cases, I would choose the tree. but that doesn't really mean much... there is a difference between utilizing Life(Death) for the good of Life, and meaningless destruction based out of a selfish, foolish fear/hatred of Life

So it’s not the egg sack larva that burrow their way through the stink bug as he writhes in agony
    while being slowly disemboweled :ack2:

That is just nuts, blows my mind really. What you consider a house spider might be very different than what I consider. In Florida we've got these little gray jumping spiders, which are harmless, that we consider house spiders. I do anyway, theyre everywhere

    *edit*
Found this cool video of a wolf spider straight up attacking a stink bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywvTEKqpHcc
Also check this one out haha: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I4cC3SzZgc
(how do you get videos to show on here?)

They are destroying my garden and I refuse to use any insecticides so I guess my tomatoes are done for the year. It's a real shame because most of what I grow goes to local food banks for people who can't afford fresh produce.

These are pretty cool bugs though.

The best way to get them out of the house when you see them is keep a can of dust remover handy and squirt them with the bottle turned upside down. The liquid coming out of can should freeze the disgusting little bastards solid before they can release their stinky chemicals. Then just toss them outside.

Just don't get any of that liquid on your hands. It will burn you.

i dont that also, but todays shitty gas contains bitterants, and its harmful to humans now just to breath the air around it.. If your willing to spend a couple more $ on non-bitter freon. fucking huffers made the gas retarded for legit use..

Those little jumping spiders of various colors with the huge eyes are really cool. When I see them if I put my hand down ,after a little bit they'll jump on.I'll lift them up and we'll just kind of look at each other for a while. Then when I put my hand back down ,they'll jump off and go on their way. BUT--if I was threatened by someone with a BLACK WIDOW--I would squeal on anyone for anything!! They frighten me like nothing else. Potato bugs and June bugs--well--they bug me some.

Have you tried tobacco water? There are a number of naturally derived insecticides you can make. One time I even mixed tabasco sauce and water and sprayed my pot plants with it. Stopped the grasshoppers from eating them.:D

I've trained my dog to hunt and attack all insects so I don't ever have to worry about it. He'll jump 5 feet in the air to grab a fly. It's made life alot more simple :)

I quite like cockroaches, but I'm not gonna lie, I had to get used to them. I did my junior seminar project on them a few years ago. I've always liked all forms of bugs and creepy crawlies, so long as they don't bite. That's why millipedes are okay by me but centipedes aren't, because millipedes are herbivores and centipedes are carnivores.
Stink bugs are cute as hell. I love the way they walk like they're on stilts or something. Like stick bugs, too. Bugs are cool!

    Eeeeeeeeeeeeeew, it's so urgly.

Yeah I think it's instinctual. We tend to like mammals a lot.
