Ever see that movie "into the wild"? Thats kinda what I want to do but without the dying at the end part(eat the right plants).....I just want to live like a homeless hippie hitchhiking drifter for a couple of months see what its like...find a way to live in nature...live off wild plants...I want to see what living without money is like....spend the night in a homeless shelter(never have before)....the thing is that I think it would be too lonely to do it by myself...would be cool to find a great guy to do this adventure with...ideally it would be great to find romance with this...idk...just a fantasy of mine...but it could happen....anyone want to let go of the material world with me? Focus and tune into nature....transcend our crazy monkey brains and just be in the moment....grow out our beards...and just be free..........Im 100percent broke right now, vegetarian, white, 27yo, 5ft8, goodlooking, 150lbs, masculine, nice, loving, compassionate guy here............................my email is eatlotsofbroccoli@gmail
i wanna do pretty much the same thing one day. just go out, live on the road. but at the moment i'm not there yet. still in college, and other stuff. I wish you all the luck.
Hey Enature, your dream is something that can happen, maybe not all of it all at the same time but without doubt there are lots of guys doing just what you're talking about. The lonely part of travel, yeah, it sure would be nice to share with someone. I spend a lot of time in Peru and find there is a growing young ex-pat population from all over the world, lots of GB, Aussies, Canadians as well as European folks. A lot of them strike me as being at least gay friendly and I've seen some gay singles as well as couples. I'm way too old for you but what a great dream it would have been at 27. It will take some money to get to where you want to go wild but I've seen guys volunteering at retreat centers, teaching English, and doing lots of get-by work just for the joy of living wild. I hope you find somebody, I hope you find someplace and I hope you go as wild as you want. Since South America is inexpensive and warm enough to get by with minimum shelter....go south young man.
Been there, done that and loved it. Still do actually, its a blast to know everything you need to survive is on your back. Even though you might find someone to go with you, there is something more that you'll find when you go it alone. You learn more about yourself and what you can accomplish when you don't rely on anyone for your own survival. Once you realize that people look at you with the same disdain as they do with all the other homeless people it transforms you in ways that are unimaginable. I do hope that you get out there, just be prepared and know that freedom is work. Cavey
Of course,I love being for weeks, sometimes for months in the mountains, without tent. One of my favourite places: Its rare to find a gay person for such nature trips
I'm starting to think that maybe there are more us out there then we thought. Maybe its wishful thinking. Cavey
Sure there must be thousands of us in the nature all over the world- the problem is the geographic distance lol
