Okay so I was munching the other day, and I thought; what are Americans most addicted to, of all the things there are that absorb our minds? There really are tons of things to be addicted to, whether it be a video game, food, or television. I'd like to know your thoughts on this. Also, I'm extremel fucking high at the moment, so any fuck-ups I make in this thread will probably be fixed on the morn, when I'm sober. Anywho. Discuss.
americans are addicted to only one thing and nothing else. americans are addicted to addication. i bullshit you all not!
Designer Coffee, soda pop, booze and cigarettes. Even those on unemployment, food stamps or neither will scrounge soda cans to get enough money for a StarBucks, Dutch Bros, Pepsi/Coke Miller, Jose', Camel or Marlboro fix, sometimes rather than buy food.
I find that when I'm poor a Pepsi is cheap enough to not make any real difference to me financially but more than worth the cost in how happy it makes me.
These are all really good points. Now that I'm sober, haha, I'm thinking that maybe all of these things ARE just symptoms of easiness, or laziness. I think laziness is essentially the ultimate addiction here.
Yep, soda is Americans biggest addiction. Look at the proliferation of fountain dispensers in every store and usually a line of people behind them. Big money maker for convenience stores. And people are physically addicted to soda. I know people that drink only diet coke all day. No water, coffee, tea, just cokes. Coke Cola is a good stock to buy for those into stocks. Its a world brand and people will become addicted all over the world.
