New and Shy

I live in Schertz, sorta in between San Antonio and Austin.......near Randolph AFB.....used to work out there as a hairdresser. I guess it's considered more south Texas and yes, it is so humid here some days that it's hard to breathe. Last week, it got up to 103 and humid on top of that....so I stayed inside. lol I've often referred to this as Hell, Texas USA. Don't get me wrong though.....I love Texas.

Because of the big controversy here over the gun laws, I have a big sign in my window that says "Gun Control means being able to hit your target." .....and I can.

Mostly I'm a peaceful person but I have had to knock a man down here once for aggravating me. He was calling my daughter names and kicking her car......just to get back at me...He knew just how to rile me up. I didn't need my gun though. I just knocked him on his butt. I'm 5 foot tall and weigh 105 lbs, but I'm both Irish/Scots.....and Texan. A deadly combination.....when it comes to my kids.

 

I used to live in Nacogdoches County....Gun control means using both hands....

 

lol I like that one. I have people here online and off that call me the "Peacemaker" for a couple of reasons....one....I try to make peace between people that are fighting over stupid things......and two....if that doesn't work.....well, I'm sure you know what the old Peacemaker was. Of course, now I'm using a snubnose .38
