What Are/Have You Been Doing Today.?

Ran for an hour straight last night for the first time ever!!!! Yay! I love breaking a good sweat. It sucks for the first 15-20 minutes or so then you just go into a trance and all your muscles become warm and super stretchy like. Woke up this morning really sore. Went to yoga class and stretched it all out again. *sigh* Then came home to practice more yoga moves that the instructor did that were amazing and I cant do worth shit yet. Shmeh. In time I s'pose. Patience and practice.

Got soaked in the rain on my bike ride home from school, investigated my sketchbook and all my ink drawings are completely fucked

I know! Had a little play with it, I like it! But, Canon have come so far since they released my XTi that I'm a bit overwhelmed with it. Give it a week and I'll be a pro with it. I've been trying to figure out how to turn on AF and how I can use live view, purely to see what all the fuss is about. Manual focus is proving way difficult than I imagined!

Was going to go to camden today but didn't go in the end because I can't spend anymore money and I have work to do. But gawds I love camden. But I did do some work today so selfcontrolbean is working.

Found all my documentation for my van (woo / yay etc) now I just need to pester the DVLA for a fucking log book.

 

Today i found out i am not eligible for a grant this year for college so im officially screwed for cash and will be living at my computer for the foreseeable future.

I also wrote my local politician about the problems with the grant system because i was annoyed

 

have had some sort of upper respiratory funk. in combination with trying to quit cigarettes. school is fucking boring. continue to be annoyed with my research boss.

 

I think Ive been doing to much yoga. Im sore in places I didnt know I could be sore in and I havnt been able to sleep as a result lately. Im tired. Gonna go to bed 5 hours early tonight. Good night.

 

After digging out all my van documents in preperation for mot / tax in october I decided to actually have a look at the tax disk, ran out 9 days ago, and I can't re-tax it without the log book.

If it's not registered in my name then it's not techni9cally my problem, but try explaing that to a copper when he pulls you, or to the blokes towing "your" van away because it has no tax. Fuck.

 

got home from school, but Im still wondering how I survived the 4 week drinking binge Ive been on with my friends since school started, at least Ive been sober this week.

also dreading next week since its the whole 200 years of independence crap, which really has no meaning except for the government spending ludicrous amounts on money on celebrations no one feel should be going on considering the state of the country, and since I live near the city center where the whole things is gonna take place.... its gonna suuuuuck

plus Im turning 20 and Im not really sure if thats good or bad

 

Went into the clubs last night. Remembered what a fucking rip off they are.
Had uni today for a little while, then went and used a few vouchers I got for my birthday at a couple of camping shops.
Bought a little webbed canvas havasack bag, a water bottle, flint and stricker, and a machete.

 

Also camping up the mountain tonight with my little brother. And there appears to be what I think may be species of psilocybe mushroom growing there. interesting...

Took a serious muscle relaxer last night and slept like a baby. I could so easily become addicted to naproxen. That stuff rocks! Gotta hide it from myself! I have today off from work!!!!! Yay! Gonna sign my bebe up for soccer, maybe do some yoga, clean up the house, maybe go jog, and then have a date night with my man! Were gonna go see Jr. Kelly tonight!!!!! Im excited cuz Jr. Kellys music is actually kinda sentimental for us as cheesy as that sounds. When my man and I were friends he drove all the way out to Arizona to pick me up from the grand canyon and helped me move back to Cali...While he was out in AZ helping me I found out I was pregnant and was depressed and a total emotional mess. The whole 14 hour drive back to Cali I sat in the fetal position crying...the only thing that kinda perked me up was laughing at Jr. Kellys music cuz he says "Bedonk" after every line for some reason. So in other words we kinda bonded over that. And now were life partners! Crazy how the universe conspires. I cant wait to see him tonight! bedonk.

 

Re dangled the angle on my TV, it is now supported on an assortment of wood and TV brackets and is at an extremely nice angle for watching in bed.

 

still sick. been using the neti pot all day and eating junk food. i need to get laid.
