Do this in the U.S. and make it look like a McDonald's meal. Not only will people slow down, they'll stop and get out of their car and try to get it.

How can they call it a static image if it is an optical illusion?

 

because its a static image that gives the illusion of 2d

 

If it appears to jump out suddenly, it's not really just 2D static. I think it's an eyesore.

I wonder how many accidents this could cause or be a factor in. I can see someone going into a panic if they are not aware that it could happen and that could cause an accident.

People in real time over react to a situation often and that causes an accident. If I saw a child pop up in front of me, I am not sure that my reaction would not be to overcompensate for that.

I hope I never have to find out, be it an image or a real child.

 

Man, my brain just laid down an idea on me. Ima gonna start a clothing line like rapper Master P and pay the city/school some money to advertise a new clothing line for kids with ads on the shoes of that optical illusion traffic thingy. It's compelled advertising directly at the parents and kids and a groovy way to make some bucks. Plus the city/school will get their cut too.

Of course, I'm sure Starbucks will beat me to it and have its name on the optical illusion thingy. But hey. That's free enterprise.

So you go through these a few times with the "shit, child!" usual panic going through your head, then aftera while the message is sent to your brain that the images of smal children in the road are just false alarms and nothing to worry about. Yeah, fantastic. Stupid ians
