I wana know who killed him. I don't buy that crazy fan killed him was it because he was becaming political? And they need him to shut up
I read a book about the subject many years ago ("Who Killed John Lennon," by Fenton Bresler). Bresler makes a very good case for Chapman's innocence. Bresler establishes that Chapman was definitely NOT a John Lennon fan. It turns out that Chapman was a Todd Rundgren fan. John Lennon was trying to become a citizen of the USA, he was a serious anti-war activist, and he had an enormous fan base. The man was so incredibly popular that he could easily have been elected to just about any political office in the land. In the final analysis, there was an enormous amount of pressure to take out John Lennon, since he was a very real threat to the war-mongering ruling elite.
That is so true look any where you don't see people like john lennon changin stuff in the goverment. You always see movie starts CEO"s running u never see real peopple with ideas that will change the world
JL was brutally murdered in a city he loved a lot.....it's just the sign of the OBNOXIOUS 80's and all the Reagan-oriented INvolution they brought with them
While I wish I could sit back and claim some sort of conspiracy about the murder of Lennon, I'm not sure the motives for the government would even make sense. If the government wanted to kill him, it would be for political reasons. He was a major influence on society, had major support and as a result, the opinions he expressed gained instant credibility from all corners of society. However, at the time Lennon was killed his most active political protesting period had been long over. He was five years out of the spotlight, had become a family man and was already was granted his citizenship in 75 I believe. It just doesn't make sense that the government would want to silence Lennon years after he'd already backed himself out of the spotlight and hadn't said a word. IMO, if the government wanted him silenced then his murder would have taken place sometime in the early 70's. Unfortunately, I think we have to accept that Lennon was murdered by a deranged, delusional man and that, as terrible as it is to say, it was a completely senseless waste of life.
It's all a conspiracy I think he's imprisoned somewhere the body was a ploy in order to draw away from the suspicion
