No, the definiton of "universe" is the totality of ALL known things.

universe (y 'nə-vûrs')
The totality of matter, energy, and space, including the Solar System, the galaxies, and the contents of the space between the galaxies.

The idea of multiple universes is contradictory to the definiton of universe.

If anything exists outside of our realm of knowledge or perception, than for all intents and puposes it does not exist. If we find and discover new stuff, even other dimensions and "universes" they then, by definiton of the word, become part of "our" universe.

I once took a hit of dmt - a mega dose.. Somehow I manged to pass though a sofa couch blocking a door- fire ball across a street- melting a aluminum door handle making it into a home of my relitives/friends live in, that I have no keys too. I was in the living room of this home what I would call rematerializing ( I was in fact inside an arena where the grateful dead were , and these people all hippies ect, deadheads.). As I rematerialized in this house. the people came down stairs and didnt know how I got there, But were some my best freind- but they heard me saying these words. " heaven is the universe again and again" . felt as if I was in heaven for sometime. My friend wife had looked outside and she swore she seen a very bright light and screaming as if someone was on fire..
There was these girls that were neighbors next door. They called the police cause they seen a bright light explode on the door, what they thought they heard screaming as well..
I exited the backdoor my friends house and there was a police officer in a single car when I came out front, he asked what was going on and I said, I dont know what you mean? people heard screaming. and said i was waking my friend for work..
my friend and i later discussed the melted door handle and can not explain what took place. I had to break back into my home and we have no idea how I got passed 4locked doors..
one thing I aslo remember was the sort of ping ponging off the brightest star in the sky..

the universe is still expanding... but it's only the matter inside the universe that is expanding away from itself... the universe isn't getting any bigger (not that it is an "it" ... the universe, to us, is everything)

a flat/goldilocks universe is the theory that at some point gravity will stop the expansion and hold the energy/matter of the universe in a constant state

the universe (thanks to the curvature) manages to be both infinite and have boundaries.... it's a very strange place
