If eating the HBWR seeds, is it best to do it on an empty stomach? Like, should I avoid eating all day until my stomach is making those sounds because I'm so hungry and starving? Is doing it this way allow for better absorption of the alkaloids? I've been reading that some people say to not eat anything but they have never said why exactly. Is it because of the nausea? If that's the case, does it really make a difference whether you're going to vomit stomach acid or cereal or birthday cake & ice cream? (I'll be eating these for the first time on my birthday next week, which is why I'm asking)
yeh but dont starve yourself so your feeling pure shit before the trip, meybe have lunch then have your seeds 6 hours later
Well I'll probably be eating cake around noon. So 6 hours is a good time span prior to eating the seeds? Does having a somewhat full stomach make a difference in the intensity of your trip?
Man if it's your birthday, tell your friends to get you some mushrooms or some acid instead. Happy upcoming B-Day
Yeah HBWR is not something you should use to celebrate your birthday... I've tried it 3 times and it never got me very far. Could just be me, who knows? I usually go on an empty stomach with all psychedelics (i hear it hits you faster/harder, not sure if it's true or not). I found HBWR very nauseating, and I've got a pretty strong stomach. I didn't puke, but it sure as hell made me feel horrible. Like PB said, get some shrooms or something for a special occasion like your birthday.
@PB_Smith: I told him that but my friend has only one connect and he's a lousy connect at that. LSD and shrooms are not as readily available as cannabis, which I can just go to the dispensary and purchase. I guess I could go to a hippie concert out here and meet some people that way. Well I already have the seeds and am very excited to see what the experience is like since I know what semi-decent shrooms are like (never had mind-blowing shrooms).
All I can say I be prepared to feel pretty bad for the first hour or so. I hope it goes better than my attempts did. Report back how it goes!
I most certainly will! I've been reading many of the reports on Erowid to get an idea of how people write them. I like the reports where the author begins each paragraph with the time; makes it easier to follow.
