Hello Tiffany! Welcome to HIP! Sorry for asking, but I'm guessing you're not near the shoreline right now? I've only been in North Carolina once and it was the area near the Raleigh/Durham Airport (RDU) in Morrisville and Cary, NC. I found out the hard way that you don't want to visit this area on a Sunday unless you have a rental car to use. There was no bus into Raleigh and I got bored pretty quickly. I don't want to knock the state on that one bad experience. In fact, I still want to return there, but to the Charlotte area instead. Southwest Airlines doesn't serve Charlotte though, which will likely keep me from visiting NC again any time soon.
