A "big" bong-something like 2-3 feet is cool to rip occasionally when you want to get super high but using it every day builds a quick tolerance, eats weed, and kills your lungs.

The bong pictured is ridiculous. I see it as for show/party tricks only.

I'd personally rather have a sweet 12-18" glass on glass over some ridiculous acrylic thing, but to each his own.

Ive hit one of those, it was a 2 person job for us. Definitely got me really baked, and pretty much catatonic for the rest of the night.

the biggest bong ive ever hit was maybe 2/3 the size of the one in the picture but it was awesome...it was full of ice, sitting in a cooler full of ice so just the bowl was out and their was those blue ice packs wrapped around the entire thing...it was at a party and im not sure how much i smoked in 1 hit but it was a shit load and it was like breathing in the winter it was nuts

 

Holy fuck that's a big bong. My buddy has a red one just like it that he calls Clifford, of course. But I forgot how big that thing was, yours looks just like it. He let me sleep on his couch one time when I was on a roadtrip, and he woke me up the next morning with a big smile on his face. The bong was loaded and I was to hit it right away. It was ridiculous.

 

No big bong I've hit has hit properly, there is always too much drag which leads to yellow stale-ish smoke, and I enjoy the taste of my smoke almost as much as the high. Also I have a thing against acrylic bongs, glass or no-go imo, but yeah unless the bong is scientifically designed for such a purpose it shouldn't be over 30".

 

For sure. These types of bongs are novelties and fun for groups or shock value, but I prefer my 18" tsunami.

 

why not have both?

 

Because that takes up a lot of space and I know if I have a nice glass bong around I'd never think of using it, shit I ended up not even using my vaporizer after I bought my 22" SYN showercap percolator. Anything that isn't used should be sold/given to a better home unless it has significant sentimental value, and I'd never associate value with something that's acrylic

 

Well I love each of my pieces equally. They all do me nothing but good.
