Based on a previous thread, I thought the topic of best dope movie would be a nice change of pace. My vote is for Requiem for a Dream followed by Trainspotting and Basketball Diaries. Take note that this isn't the best DRUG movie, just the best movie involving heroin.

    Trainspotting.

I find Requiem for a Dream to be sort've silly even though it is amazingly directed and well acted.

Smack, how did I know this was coming? LOL
I would have to say Trainspotting or Basketball Diaries also, but I did like Pulp Fiction for the little bit of dopin that went on there.
Don't worry, I am downloading Requiem as we speak!
    Oh yea, Drugstore Cowboy too.

    i read that too :)

i would say probably specifically for dope, trainspotting.

Some of the more close minded people i know tell me that they dont really like the film because of everyones scottish accents. So stupid. But regardless of that, great movie!

The Scottish accents fit quite well. After all the movie was based off the widespread heroin epidemic that hit Scotland in the 80's

Not really "heroin" movies...but have you seen El Topo or Holy Moutain? Very surreal with lots of hidden messages. Many of the messages are based on the tarot, and visually the films are incredible. I think Holy Mountain was one of John Lennon's favorite movies. You should check them out! :)

Never heard of those NYXX, I will def check those out.
Anyone ever see Labyrinth with David Bowey and Jennifer Connely? I think it kinda fits into that weird message/dream context. May be my favorite to trip to, there is a lot of hidden stuff that only trippers can see/find.
