Hello. Everyday, I go through the same experience. I am fed up with the heat, and have been for time and time again. I cannot stand temperatures over 70 degrees. I understand my body would shut down if I were to throw myself into a body of cold air, water, etc. Though, I find chilling extremes soothes me, and I function well, think very clear, and can go into a trance/disconnected state of mind with no troubles. When the heat comes, I become not such a great person. I have tried to overcome the heat with my mind, though physically I still feel the energy of warmth pulsing down my veins.

So, I would like to know, if there is anything I may really do for the next months until snowfall for a tolerance of heat. Internet isn't helping much, and knowing how this community has much culture, I can hope someone has an insight or two.

I'm wondering if you've had blood work done recently. This might be something you need to discuss with your doctor. Could be a hormonal issue.

I used to feel the same way about cold weather. I would completely shut down during the winter time. My body would stay chilled straight through to my bones for months and i had absolutely no energy. Last winter I made myself actively enjoy the winter. I went camping in the snow, I went hiking as much as possible.

Try having fun with summer. Do things to cool you down and also things you can only do in the summer-swimming, hanging out in a river or something...enjoy the natural surroundings. i dont know where you live but if you live near mountains, going to a high elevation after facing weeks of stifling tempatures does wonders for the body and soul.
