Be very careful here. While there may be people who would try to help you, the declaration "I'm a 16 year old run away" is going to make you a magnet for predators. The advice that I've heard for run aways is that the best thing, if being at your former home is not an option you would consider, is to find a relative that you trust, aunt, grandparent, etc. and try to stay with them. There may also be some good run away service organizations out there, but I don't know enough about any of them to make a recommendation. You might want to look around, find a particular forum and repost your thread. A lot of run aways end up dead, exploited, or otherwise hurt. Worth thinking this over.
I completely agree with e7m8. You might find someone cool but you also might find someone looking for a victim to exploit...a good predator will lead you into thinking all is cool until they have you where they want you...I know cause I work with paroled predators. Google resourses for runaways and see if anything could fit your needs there. Be careful with you boy and good luck.
