but i think that media, politics, global society etc as we know it will become irrelevant, unnecessary, maybe even absent within 1-2 years.

due to astrological and earth events.

I know. I was just being a smartass . I think things are going to get really bad to be honest. Like really bad. The books 1984 and Soylent Green weren't fiction, they were prophecies. We're going to eat government food, wear government approved clothes, drink government approved liquids, and suicide rates will skyrocket.

I doubt those things will happen in 1-2 years..but probably eventually. If not, society will just continue to devolve and the movie idiocracy will become reality. I would prefer a dooms-day scenario to idiocracy any day.

do you mind if I turn the question around on you and ask you why you think it will happen within the next 1 or two years? Thats why I made the 2012 comment; I figured 2012 worked quite nicely with your timeframe.

I don't think it will happen that quickly because people have been predicting the end of society as we know it for many, many years and it hasn't happened yet.

 

i have an erie feeling that something bad has to happen for their to be a change for the better.

The perfect formula for an arising of consciousness is disaster. the prophecies, myths, the mayans all predicted it.

if there was to be a disaster i would want it to be something that takes all this technology away from us....force us back to the source.

 

Once a person dies then all that becomes irrelevant, unnecessary, and most certainly absent to him or her. Everything you see, hear, feel, experience, participate in is just the accessory set to the fleshy action figure you're currently animating and using as a vehicle to roam the planet.

 

Yes, I think that the world as we know it will be coming to an end fairly soon. Our whole society that we have set up I feel is about to implode in on itself.................Let the Archaic Revival begin!!!!!

 

you know i have this same feeling.....everything comes to a point and then returns again once more to nothing....then starts all over again.

 

while media still benefits us now, it is highly irrelevant with the extreme biases presented in all news stories. it's unfortunate.

i have many feelings as to what is going to happen, but again they are only feelings. nonetheless, i trust my feelings. even though they aren't clear and i can't say exactly what will happen, i can tell you we need to be self-sustaining. that is gonna be the key to survival in the future, whether this is necessary right in 2012 or just in the next decade.

we also need to exercise our brains more...read, write, think, and MEDITATE, expand the brain's potential, it's a muscle...perhaps we do have the ability to use more than 10% of it, when and if we ever learn how to exercise it in more realistic ways.

last but not least, take care of your bodies now, they are a portal (along with the brain) and other spiritual aspects of ourselves.

 

can you imagine what human beings would be capable of if we could figure out how to use 100% of our brain
