yea i really liked it, honestly the PG rating really made me skeptical, i figured it would be full of immature little kid jokes but it was actually a really great story

    This really surprises me.....

I thought hollywood was running out of ideas then when I saw the Preview for National Treasure I knew it was true.

I mean come on its a moive about a treasure map on the Decrelation of Independence. The first thing that came to my mind was James Madison, George Washington, and Ben Fraknlin all wasted off their asses and just scribling a treaure map on the back of the Decrelation.

But seriously how could you say this had a good plot.....

Didn't see the movie and I think it was a horrible plot. I completely agree with whoever last posted. I think indie-films are usaully a lot more original. Hollywood is for all that special effects bullshit.

Well, I love the "Indiana Jones" type movies. Clues, puzzles, hidden treasure... It all appeals to me. I liked "Tomb Raider", too... :)

Okay, so I'm a cornball. I like cheesy love stories, too. ;)

duck, you sound like an ass kind of.

honestly though, what kind of crack head writer got freaked out and decided to creat a conspriracy with the one dollar bill and the declaration?

there is a line on the previews that flips my head:

"The dollar bill is trying to tell me something."

    hahahahahahahahahah

i apologize duck. i just mean that in an endearing manner, like i feel the same way so i am an ass kind of too.

    yea.

the bubbles in my cereal are trying to tell me something.

I enjoyed the movie a lot. It was great. If it didnt have the masons involved it would honestly suck.

If you would know anything about history you would know the story wasnt made my a crack head obviously and someone atleast somewhat intelligent. The freemason is a secret society. It is a real society, not somthing made up for hollywood. The actual pyramid on the dollar bill does have to do with the freemasons, Im not sure ont he exact affiliation with it but it is connected. A lot of the famous founding fathers were freemasons including george washington.

I have a book on the subject but havnt gotten to reading it yet.

just because it involved a historical secret society does not mean it is smart or even involving anything anything the free masons were actually for, and don't think you are all smart because you heard of the free masons, you self righteus, cocky-ass dickhead
the free masons were a secret society, a secret society that was secretly dedicated to RELIGON (not treasure) they were against the christianity of the time and they had some very wise and logical religous beliefs which included the belief that the bible was not God's word seeing as how it is written by humans but merely a vague image of God's will

In the movie, the reason why the Freemasons were involved with hiding the treasure, was because it was too great to allow one person (or government) to control.

I don't know much about the Masons, because I'm a woman and we aren't allowed. I tried to pick up and look at my grandfathers book and my grandmother screeched at me, as if I was approaching boiling acid. My dad is one too.

My grandmother and my sister are members of the Eastern Star, which is like the ladies auxillary for the Masons. It's where all the wives go. My sis participated in some of my grandfathers Mason ceremonies, where females were allowed. He was pretty high ranking and took his secrets to the grave.

But I really wanted to see what was in that ancient black book... :)

It did involve the masons to a great degree with some somewhat accurate information. You are a dumbass sir, that first sentence didnt even make sense "or even involving anything thing the free masons". Do you mean it didnt involve anything at what the free masons were for? I dont think im smart because I heard of the masons asshole, most people have heard of it but dont know anything about it. I am a cocky ass dick head but atleast im not a fucking moron like you.

I never said the secret society was dedicated to treasure asshole, nor did the movie. That was made up. From my understand of the masons its basicly a religion based on mathmatics. From what I understand I also believe its not complete christianity but catholics. Thats what I was told, it could be wrong.

You are honestly a fucking moron. You come on here flaming me over nothing. Get over yourself dick head. :sunglasse <-- look at me guys im so cool!!!11!!! (sarcasm) People like you are what makes this world so stupid and ignorant. You are probably like 30 years old bitching at a 14 year old over nothing, get a life man, honestly, get a life.

I am a dickhead sometimes I must admit and I don't know if you read my earlier posts (do some fuckin' homework) but I said that I did not see the movie and was going to base everything in this from the previews, and I am sorry if I thought you were a little full of yourself but I recall you saying something about "If you knew anything about history" which you have to admit is a textbook self-righteous I'm way smarter than you are move. By the way, I ain't full of myself I was defending the person (T-sumthin) you attacked with your "If you knew anything about history" shit. If you are going to start shit with someone by trying to be smart I will go right back and fight fire with fire (excuse the cliche) I am afraid you are what is stupid and ignorant not the world around you. YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!
P.S. age don't mean shit because you my friend are only a year younger than me
Nice talking to you, you were a good opponent, see you around the forums. (Maybe next time we can have a more civil, more mature argument) I hope you understand I don't usaully attack people like that (except for in politics) but if you're nicer to other forum members I will be too.

The only reason I said the whole "if you knew anything about history" because the person was obviously moronic. He made it sound like every single thing in the movie was a crock and he decided to make up a secret society etc etc. Whatever though.

Hahaha... I agree with Becky... you guys really should take a deep breath.

Anyway, I saw the movie and it was really good. It doesn't matter what the freemasons were for, because that was really not the point. What they were trying to say was that because some of the founders of this country were freemasons, that the entire society was a coverup as to what most people think it's for.
