New oxycontin OP's tamper proof...

Ok, I just got a hold of the NEW oxycontins that are marked OP and 40 on one side, what sucks about them is that you CANNOT crush these bad boys, they are fucking waxy as hell, and if you chew them, they are fucking HARD and waxy... you CANNOT snort or shoot these, all you can do is swallow them.. all I can say is bravo to the companies (in a bad way) this sucks... I just swallowed a 40 and ill see how it goes. I tried crushing these beasts and it does no effect, its like a really hard waxy substance fuck man im pissed..

If anyone discovers a way to "abuse" these, post em here...or any comments are appreciated

UPDATE TESTED:Snorting does NOT work, it fucking gels up in your nose and it sucks.
Smoking is useless, DO NOT attempt it. I smoked a half of a 40 in a glass vaporizer, it does not work. I also "Chase the dragon" with the
other half on foil and it burns really wierd and taste like shit, it barely burns and my lighter ends up burning the foil before the pill.
DO NOT attempt any of the above, its useless. Also consumed a OP 40 about 45 mins ago and not feeling anything, my tolerance is pretty low
60mg of the OC brand fucks me up. I would expect a buzz but nothing...

 

Know the pain!!! just got myself in the hole money wise BIG TIME today! did not know that the tennessee pharms, had the new oc's and neither did my dude who gets them, well today it was time for him to re-up and gave him my money for my 10 to sell as i was waiting for him to return i was dreaming of the extra money i was gonna have (here in my area 80's go for 120.00 ) and i had 50.00 on each 80 so that was 500.00 i had in it. well when i met up with my dude, he showed me the pills and told me that today at his pharm, some dea people came in and removed all the OG OC's from the pharm amd even took the ones that was waiting to be picked up by people, and replaced them with these little pieces of crap. the pharmacist said that its everywhere. I doubt now i wont even get what i put in them..... so basicly im F-U-C-K-E-D!!!!!!!


****while i was writing this post my hubby got a water clamp and grated the pill and it DID turn into a snortable powder. but as im typing im snorting as hard as i can and barely taste the drip, and i rubbed my nose just now and i have stringy spider web type of substance attached to my hand! i guess im gonna have to go back to demerol and k4's and roxys. RIP old fomulated OC's it was a good run!!!!****

Ok so Tennessee seems to have been changed over, is this an entire US thing, or just specific states?

Edit 8/27: Upon a little more research Mass. and NY have also began to be switched over Also if anyone could add states that they are in and have found that OC pills have been switched with the new OP pills please post the state and any details you have here.

haha spider web substance happened to me too.. u get 80s for $120? thats fuckin expensive, i get 40s for 7 bucks each 80s for $11... damn where are you from? thats a rip off, id never pay $100 even to get super high for one pill that would only last a day

any way to crush and shoot...i.e. hammer and water...or lemon juice? i would experiment and see if you can soak it in everclear and let the alcohol dissolve...THF would eat away the wax but i would be worried about the goodies being fucked...

well we live in a small town in kentucky..... Im originally from san diego (south bay area otay mesa) and its hard to find good dope (meth,herion) so alot of people do pills here. we have coke and pot around, but this generation of dope heads love those damn pills.... its a good business... i can get a script of perc 10 and sell them for 10 dollars a pill. i pay 4.00 for my script (90 pills) and then trun it into 900 dollars, and with the oxys the prices are as follows 20's=30.00 30's=40.00 40's=60.00 60's=90.00 and 80's=120.00
in this area and surrounding counties/towns the prices are about the same. we do make runs to georgia and get them cheaper so we can resell and make some money..... it is crazy that this little pill is so much, but thats all there to do around here... i miss cali.... though...mistake moving here........

 

well that bad thing is that the new substance in this pill is actually worked in the whole pill itself, when i first heard about the new formula i was thinking it woud be like a concerta, and you can peel the "protective coating" off. but this is not the case with these new ones.... the best and only way to do this is to actually put it on your mouth and suck on it like a pepermint candy, or you can take the water clamp and that will make it into a somewhat snortable powder....but its still gels and you will get clumps...even people who actually take this med for their severe pain dont like them...i read where on person had took one and like a hour later he was sick and puking up slime balls.... its untelling what was put in this pill, its some sort of plastic ploymer (sp?) and which no one knows the long term effects of this chemical!! i suspect more lawsuits because of this..

Hey guys I'm a little new here, but I've been lurking in opiate silence for a while. I heard that if you put a new OP in the microwave for 45 seconds it helps to dry out the gel from the inside out, since that's how a microwave cooks, and you can shave it down and snort it...don't quote me though.

I am in SoCal, El Cajon in SD County and have just picked up my first new script of the new OP Oxys. From what I have heard, even crushing these new pills will not defeat the time release function, so it is really useless to crush and snort these. You will only get gummed up nasal passages and the time release will not even be affected. As far as crushing for snorting or smoking, it's totally screwed. Looks like the ride's over, unless they go back to the OC pils due to patient revolt.

 

Hmmmm- interesting. I just picked up my monthly script- last month the pharmacies were still carrying the "old" formula pills from Purdue.I suspect they've added something like a PEG/gelatin. I'm sure Purdue lists all the varios active and inactive/tertiary ingredients of the medication on thier website. I have yet to read through it.I bet a soaking in a methanol alcohol solution, followed by vacuum filtration and ultimate recrystalization would isolute the active narcotic ingredient. I also suspect an acid base extraction would also seperate out the gelatin binder. Not a very difficult task if you know what you're doing- but, this is only speculation as i've not attempted it.Still, full circle, it gets back to the underlying question of oxycontin's bioavailability. How much product is wated when ingesting the medication via alternative routes- i.e. isufflation, intravenously, etc. I'm not sure since i've never researched it. But, as the overly used cliche states, where there's a will there's a way.I use my meds as directed since they meet my needs as of this point.Wow, alot of fellow San Diegans here.

Pay extremely less for REAL Oxycontin that is still manufactured by Purdue but distributed by Ethex from what I understand.

I remeber people taking the teva brand and soaking them overnight in water. I tried it once as a goof (I don't abuse them I have actual chronic pain but was curious). It did release all of the ingedients leaving a single doughy mass that that floated about. I'm sure you could let the water disolve and dry it out. I never snorted or injected them I just wanted to see what would happen. Has anyone tried this? How does it realease the drug has anyone opened the little paperwork that comes with it and read the mech of action to see how it actualy releases. In there will be the key my friends. Like I said I don't abuse it just hate when assholes impose their beliefs upon others.

Microwaves work by sending out high frequency waves (Micro... waves) which cause the particles of water to rabidly vibrate and heat up. It cooks from the outside-in, just like everything else. Seeing as the waves hit the surface first.

 

For real only read if you are serious!? OK so here it is folks what youve been tryin to figure out. So 1st take either a nail file or a dremel & take off the green coating on an 80 they are the easiest to work with cause they are the largest & dont say na uh the 160's are they dont make em anymore just 10s,15's,20's,30's,40's60's & 80's... DO NOT GETTHEM WET OR MOIST UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES its turns em str8 to gel. So once the outter coating is off take ideally a mesh screen half round & Just hru the screen & just grind it til its a nice pile of fluffy powder thats the quickest & easiest way to get it supper fine & thats what you need for the next step. #2 take a piece of tin foil & make a small pile that about 1 inch by 2 inches and an evenly dispursed pile on the foil next put it in the toaster oven on broil ideally if no toaster than use your oven and Broil it on low on the middle rack you Have to do it slowly & DONTTAKE YOUR EYES OFF IT just WATCH it this will take MAX 10-15 Mins til it turns a Nice Golden Brown all the way thru the pile of powder will shrink to about a 3rd of the size it was to start & when its done take it out & throw it in the freezer for 2 minutes Tops enough for a kwik cool off when its done it will resemble a golden brown miniture HASH BROWN!!! When its done just scrape it off onto a plate it is now ready to Hoover it up or SLaM iT if you should Desire thats the short & str8 to the point... P.S. Your Welcome! P.P.S. IF You get them legally scripted & money is tight you try to get on the Patient Assistance Program 100% Free but everything has to be legit. OR, we could just do what U4ia said, and get the ORIGINAL OC's.

 

Alright. Tried and true. Take a razor blade and begin shaving from the outside of the oxycontin towards the center. You will see the color change from a dull white to a very bright white. That very bright white in the center of the pill is 100% pure oxycontin. the outside layer is only a polymer. The actual oxycontin is in the middle. Once you shave all of that polymer off the outside and get to the very white center then you can shave it or crush it up and snort it as usual. Or you can do it the lazy way. Grab you a Lortab and the new OP oxy and a pill grinder (buy them at local smoke shop) and throw them together into the pill grinder. grind them up together and snort them together. the lortab will allow you to snort the oxycontin and keep it from gelling up in your nose.
