Wish my hair wasn't so short

Otherwise I'd be dreading again. Is anyone else waiting for more length to start dreading?

 

i just want mine to grow! although ive discovered i quite like wearing fake hair over the top of them..

 

I'm dreading now and loosing all my length

 

i havent cut my hair for nearly 2 years and it hasnt gotten any longer

 

my hair is pretty short. so ill be waiting a long time

 

The more you wait the more it will shrink when you dread, and then you will wait all over again. If you start sooner and have short, mature locks, it will begin growing again sooner and you'll have long dreads faster.

 

I waited til my hair was maybe 6 inches to start, but i say the sooner the better.

for some reason i'm not really getting shrinkage.. all growth here at 1 yr 4 months *shrug*

 

Yeah I wish mine was a little longer, even thought I just got it trimmed. So I will just let it grow and go natural. Maybe I will get backcombed, but it seems natural is pretty easy as well.

 

Had major shrinkage until 18months in then my hair started growing. It's growing so fast it'll be touching my arse come Christmas

I am glad I started dreading at the length I did because I like the length and hopefully it stays that way for a while.

i remember wanting my hair to grow as if it was yesterday, including wanting my short dreadlets to grow. now a few years later theyre half way down my back and down to my arse if i push my head back...to me its kinda the length that i dont enjoy that much, i'd want them to be either shorter or alot longer.
