Why is Chloral Hydrate so uncommon?

    From what I know, chloral hydrate isn't terribly hard to make, i've seen the pharmaceutical form in gel filled 500mg capsules. It's hard to get lactone for making ghb now, I think chloral hydrate can be synthesized using ethyl alcohol, and the effects are enjoyable.

    i've never heard of anyone selling this

    yummy knock out drops.. just dump a bunch of vodka in a highly chlorinated swimming pool.. take a dip, same results..

    the pharmmie chloral hydrate is definitely nothing to get excited about, surprisingly nothing like g, gbl, or 1,4bd.
