Tab storage?

Hey there, a friend of mine has a few blotters, and was wondering how to store them for later use, as we've heard acid evaporates very quickly, and we need to keep em strong for the next couple of weeks.

acid doesn't evaporate quickly. it's a solid that has been dissolved into a liquid and in the case of blotter, deposited on paper. LSD is sensitive to heat, light, and oxygen. moisture is an enemy as well. for those reasons i would wrap them in something (paper, tinfoil, plastic) put that in a mason jar (airtight), maybe add some desiccant or drying agent to the jar but not in direct contact with the blotter, put the mason jar in a brown paper bag to block light, and the whole thing in the refrigerator or freezer. let it warm up before you open it to prevent condensation. it may be overkill, but better to be safe than sorry.

Freezer is not really neccesary unless you are shooting for long term storage. i wrap the tabs in foil and then put in a glass jar to keep out oxygen, room temp of 70-75 will keep acid good for years.

 

70 degrees F is still pretty warm. i don't like to risk it, although it probably doesn't degrade much at that temp

 

i've had blots 2 yrs in tinfoil and in freezer . about as good as day one. Oh tinfoil was also in tupper ware container. Overkill, who cares , it kept it

Yea I thought the same thing but the tabs I have now Ive had since 2008 and these are still nice and strong, cant really even tell if they have lost potency. Talked to other friends who have had sheets chillin for 7 years and still had active doses. all about keeping it out of oxygen and light and high heat.

 

No disrespect or anything, but are you supposed to be a squirrel? I have been confused about this since I joined.
