id like to be a forester or something along those lines. im looking for a real chilled out college with a nice hippy outdoors town. any advice?
I plan on attending The Ranger School. It's a branch of Suny new York environmental science and forestry. The ranger school is small but exclusive to that type of edu. Google it.
Theres a group of 5 colleges called the ecoleague. They follow a cirriculum called environmental liberal arts. There's Green Mountain College in Vermont (thats where im going), Prescott College in Arizona, Northland College in Wisconsin, College of the Atlantic in Alaska, and um i forget the last one. But these are considered the best environmental schools under like Yale and Cornell lol so definitely look them up if im not too late in getting back to you. One Love
Dont forget Evergreen college, an environmental school close to Olympia, WA. I lived very close to the campus for a few years and spent quite a bit of time on campus and it was amazing. I now have lived in Prescott, AZ for the past 8 years. If I had the available money or the idea of paying back college loans for the next couple decades ( especially since im 30) didnt terrify me then i would love to go to Prescott College. The city in Arizona where it is located is a mile high and is surrounded by national forest and we get a lot of rain and it isnt nearly as hot as an hour away in Phoenix ( verde valley). At this school you can pretty much develop your own individual degree, I know a person that got a degree in slack-lining but their very popular permaculture and green building classes and art classes are absolutely sick!!@!!! One of the state's best community colleges is also located in the town. PEACE, HEALTH & HARMONY, aLI
