For about 2 years I used to be a ritual, spiritual cannabis smoker. I would do it in a ritual fashion, every night, I would smoke a few fat bong rips of a very psychedelic strain, then lay down in pitch black with ear plugs in, alone, I'd try to get as deep into a meditative state as I possibly could, and then just explore. Cannabis can get incredibly psychedelic, intense, and far out there when done in a manner like this, with this intention. What I've experienced and learned from doing this with cannabis is easily on par with things I've experienced from more potent psychedelics like LSD or other. I've gone through many vivid visions, with both visual and auditory hallucinations, I've undergone out of body experience, I've traveled through many peculiar astral planes and various dimensions, encountered a multitude of different entities that have taught me much. The insights into life and reality this provided has forever changed my life. It's been over 3 years now since those days of ritual cannabis use, and the things it showed me still continue to shape and benefit my life in very profound ways. I can solemnly say cannabis is the greatest teacher I have ever had in my life.

I see alot of people on here that get into cannabis as recreation, as something fun, as something social. They see cannabis as a drug, something to be used to induce a body feeling, or mental state. Which it is of course these things. But sometimes it saddens me to see so many people go through cannabis phases, using it just as a drug, using it just as something social, something fun, and they never really notice how truly magnificent this plant is. Not just as an effect, but the spirit of the plant, the soul of this plant, is truly one of the wisest entities on this earth. Which I feel has a very important message for all of humanity and the world would be much improved if more people got the message.

One of the things that became more apparent to me the more I ritually and spiritually used cannabis is that, this is not just a drug, a lifeless tool to be used to alter consciousness. That I was not just using a spiritual tool to aid meditation, but rather, by using cannabis, I was communing with another intelligence, I was going to cannabis to specifically interact with and communicate with the spirit of cannabis. The plant does in fact carry a soul, a spirit with it, a personality, an awareness separate from your flesh, that you can communicate with, that you can interact with in various ways.

Some people that are into Buddhism, hinduism or yoga say that you don't need cannabis to get to high states of meditation, and this is true, but theres something they don't understand. That is, you don't go to cannabis just as an aid to meditation, but you go to cannabis to commune with the spirit of cannabis. You can get into a deep state of meditation without any substance, and this is useful, but sometimes it is also useful to go commune with the spirit of cannabis and receive some of it's wisdom. You don't go to cannabis just for meditation, you go to cannabis specifically to commune with the spirit of cannabis. Like how'd you concur with a grandparent or a friend for advise.

The thing about the spirit of cannabis is it is very kind, and very gentle. It will not step anywhere it is not permitted. It would prefer to dissapear and die than intrude. This is why many people can go years using cannabis just as a drug and never really get a clear notice of the soul which inhabits it. Alot of people do notice components of the wisdom of cannabis, some people may think, cannabis clears my mind, cannabis helps me come up with new ideas, cannabis helps me reflect on myself more clearly, cannabis helps me sort out my problems better, cannabis lets me see things from a more level viewpoint. They think this is just them 'high', and can speak great benefits to the thought processes induced by being high. But this is not just a simple alteration of consciousness, a messing of brain chemistry. This is the spirit of cannabis guiding your thoughts, helping to aim your intuitions and perceptions in better ways. It remains hidden, and passive in the background, letting you believe your awareness is just awareness enhanced, it will never present itself due to its humble nature. But really, under the effect of cannabis there is two awarenesses operating in your thought process, a spirit, a soul separate from you, and then you. Which I believe the more you become aware specifically of this separate awareness, as it is on it's own, the better you can interact with it, more clearly communicate with it and get more benefit out of it. The more you can see specifically what the spirit of cannabis is presenting to you, without you and your consciousness coloring or distorting it, the more prevalent its wisdom becomes.

Firstly, you do need somewhat the ability to meditate. You need to be able to quiet your mind, and just observe your thoughts. Cannabis is actually a great teacher for this, if you simply smoke cannabis with the intention to meditate, and lay down in a pitch black room, cannabis will help guide your thoughts and intuitions to proper meditation and yogic techniques. It was cannabis after all that taught the original yogis. ;)

Once you can observe YOU in your body separate from yourself, then you can also observe cannabis separate from you. You can get a sense of the presence of cannabis, seperate from everything else, and get a sense of what cannabis is doing to you separate from everything else. Its with this sense that you can clearly perceive cannabis alone, and clearly receive just its message and information, without the distortions of you over it. Its here where you can ask it questions, either by thinking actual questions in your head, or just sending it intuitions and feelings. Then feeling how cannabis, as it's own awareness, responds. You can also ask it do things, show me how to astral project, show me how to open my third eye, open my heart fully, then follow its guidance, allow it to flow through you. It can respond by popping an actual word or image to you, or it can respond by manifesting a new perception or intuition in you. Or in the case of you asking to astrally project, it can respond by yanking you out of your body, but you gotta be high as fuck for it do that,

An interesting thing to note about cannabis and its soul, its personality, is that it is very feminine. Which should be obvious, but its a specific feminine presence. Salvia is feminine, but in a very strict and overpowering sense. Mushrooms can be very feminine too, but in a facetious fairy like way. Cannabis however is feminine in the sense of a personal lover or a girlfriend I find. It stays there, as your equal, by your side, as your companion, your friend. To soothe you, offer you tips and something to convene with from time to time. I believe this is why alot of males feel they can actually get by with no girfriend as long as they have cannabis, and why cannabis is so damn popular. And why alot of girls seem considerably threatened by cannabis in comparison to alcohol, its like another girl taking the attention of their male. Another girl that is in the majority of instances, much wiser than them, as I've personally never met a girl wiser than the spirit of cannabis.
