Is talking to yourself a sign of mental health im asking this question because i heard people say its not and then on the other hand people say it is ????
It only becomes a problem if you think there is a difference between the members of the dialogue in your mind. As long as you understand that you are talking to you, it's ok. Then it is just acoustic manifestation of cerebral words.
If you are talking to voices only you can hear, then perhaps. But, I talk to myself all the time and I'm fine..
If you just do it a bit it's fine, like if you are looking for a something and say "where the hell did I put...." then that's fine, but if you're actually having a conversation with yourself then you should be worried.
I will talk to myself like "dammit Kate! whyd you have to put the keys over here!" but then like.. if someone named Jeff answered, then I'd think I had mental health problems.. lol. my name is kate btw.
I talk to myself. But i dont think ive ever replyed back...Maybe. I dunno. But I think its pretty normal.
I talk to myself. I also talk to the other person who is in my head. Am I mentally ill? I guess it depends on who you ask. I've been to various counselors about various things, and so far none have said I was delusional. But what the hell do they know?
I talk to myself all the time in my head, isnt that the thought process lol i actually spend alot of time in my head going over stuff ironing out my oppinions i think its healthy tbh
If you find yourself arguing with yourself, I think it might just be a problem. If not then mutter away.
