Hurricane Machines!

The other night, on my midnight tokin' adventures, I ran across an interesting character named Tony, he had a buzzcut and a huge viking beard, and nothing came out of his mouth but conspiracy theories. The one that really stuck with me was his theory of the government's 'hurricane machines'.

My friend Adam and I were standing in the kitchen, mouths agape (at the time I was quite stoned, and the fact that he was telling me this was just hilarious) as he told us:

"Okay. Get this. The government has giant hurricane machines."
Me: "...What the hell makes you say that?"
Viking Tony: "Simple. Didn't you notice that the government swooped in with funds mere hours after Katrina? Yeah. It's obvious they began it."
Adam: "Holy fuck! You're so right!"
Me: "...-cracks up-"

Now even though I honestly don't believe this, I'm curious. Has anybody heard anything else along these lines? If so, what? What do you think? At first I passed it off to the joint in his hand, but after speaking to his girlfriend Anna, he's always like this. He even grows his own food in his backyard so as to 'depend the least amount possible on the government.'

Well we know the U.S. government has a satellite in orbit above the earth which can focus a beam of energy to any point on the compass.

When focused on the ocean it can create low pressure vortices which give rise to hurricanes and tropical storms, and when focused on land it can create tornadoes, dust devils, and crop circles

I've heard of it. But anything that happens in the world has a conspiracy around it. If a volcano erupts the government had something to do with it. It's just how people work these days. Nothing is black and white anymore and everything that happens is the governments fault.

 

People just need someone to blame stuff on. Nothing can just happen anymore, its always got to have a cause or a maker or something. Cant people just stick with, its nature.

i can believe it, the secret societies have knowledge 1000 years more advance then what we as a culture know, they give out tidbits of knowledge in order to control us. our government is controlled by them due to the large amount of debt we owe to them. the dark ages were to destroy knowledge and make ppl illiterate so they could hoard all the knowledge and use it for their gains.. the world is a very fucked up place to be today.

 

Hahaha, most of you seem to think it's bullshit, with the exception of a few.

I'm generally an 'anything's possible' kind of person, so I suppose there is a remote possibiliy of a machine like that existing.

He did also say, however, that he believes the government has created this mass communication marketing system (facebook, cellphones, there are millions of ways to let everybody know what you're doing all the samn time) to keep us hooked and buying, to make us think we need larger memory with smaller size, cellphones, certain websites, internet, etc.

That to me makes a bit more sense, but I will confess I don't like to dwell on it because the concept is frightening.

there will be fisheye cameras in all the tvs sold in the future so they can keep an eye on us and track us. the tv will be all encompassing, tv, internet, music an all in one.. for CONTROLLLLL
