I miss the summer

I miss summer, too. Specially last summer. Last summer was awesome. My best friend & I would ride our bikes to the creek near our houses everyday & spend hooouuurs & hooouuurs there. And she'd spend the night at my house almost every night, and vise-versa. But, she moved. She lives 40 minutes away now.


My boi will have his license next summer though. haha. And I'm going to Canada.

Sorry to bore you with my pointless story.

I like autumn, too. and winter, and spring. I like all the seasons. They're equally beautiful because they're different. But, summer's great because you're FREE! no school! yay!

 

I really dislike winter...with a complete passion. Everythings cold and dead. The only thing I like is sitting inside with a mug of hot cocoa watching the snow fall..but otherwise..it sucks. I miss summer so much

 

yeah i can't imagine having to deal with it anymore...

 

i love the winters. the winters down here in santa fe are so beautiful, all the evergreens covered in snow and (when its not to cold) i stay in my tee pee with a nice fire and some cocoa....ooo....yay i am excited! and of course the ski season this year is goin to be so nice! i finally get to wipe all the dust of my board it has collected through the summer!

but, despite my love of winter, i must say summer is also a fine season!

 

that's one of the reasons my dad left miami... haha, the summer there now tell me, is it really THAT bad?

 

heh...

miami is good for 6 months out of the year, during the dry season. i mean, it's absolutely perfect, not what you would call "summer" weather, but maybe like late spring, early fall type weather. but in the wet season, the other 6 months, it's pretty much intolerable. you can't walk about without having tons of sweat dripping off of your body. it's horrible.

 

aww... that sucks sorry. how far are you from Miami Shores???

 

YES... it's that bad. Too damn hot for me. If you're not on the water, you'll shrivel up and die... and the humidity... god. It's not bad in st. pete/clearwater, but once you get inland past the bay around Tampa and especially in central Florida, it's quite torturing. Ocala was really bad. The further south, the more the mosquitoes too... everglades... I-75 (alligator alley), they had some wildfires along there... and I-4 is always packed... Florida is a little insane.... haha.

and orsino, yes, florida is insane. it really is, beyond any type of description...

 

Houston winters are quite nice. Last year I was Indiana, and it really sucked because there was moslty just ice, and not much snow. I'm happy because now it's plesant outside, not hot like it usually is. Ah, Houston.

yeah, it's a suburb of miami proper.

 

I prefer Austin out of most Texas cities. Home of some excellent blues clubs.
